I don’t understand.
I do not see a “Home” tab at https://elysiumcostarica.com/members/adminYou only get a secondary menu if that exists for that primary menu:

I added a listing from the front and all data saves: http://fellspoint.com/places/united-states/md/baltimore/restaurants-1/gadfgfg/
Same when I add a listing from the backend:

Are you completing all required fields?You need to activate GD core only at …/wp-admin/plugins.php and then follow the instructions that pop up.
Because you are hosted at WordPress, you have no FTP access, so we suggest you replace all addons using this plugin: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#easy
Get the V2 versions at https://wpgeodirectory.com/your-account/
Make sure to use the V2 versions.Note: This is a major update, so it is strongly recommended that you backup your database before start running v1 to v2 data conversion.

You do not have to upgrade to V2 now, but it will be required in a few months when V1 will be retired.
2) Unless a user “owns” the listing, the Edit link will not show, so I don’t quite understand your question.
Please post URLs and WP admin details if you want us to check anything.

Click on “Change Location” > Select “Near my location”
