GD listings need a full address or no address at all; you can use one custom post type that requires addresses, and another custom post type that does not use addresses.
The street address does not need to be a real street address, but cities, region and countries must be “real”.

That will require customization of the Popular Post widget you use there.
But you can set events to recurring, but then only choose one day, like you did for “Forres Foot-Tapper”.
That will add the date at the end of the title.Another option is to use the “GD > Event Listing Calendar” widget.

You are having some broken Place listings, so the map gets stuck trying to load them.
If you untick the categories one by one, then you will see the map starting to work, because the bad listing is not breaking things. That will tell you in which category the broken listing is.
Then update those listings to find the error.
Did you upload the listings by CSV? Adding them from the frontend or backend usually does not give those problems.Thanks

ThanksYou are hiding the maps at GD > Design > Map tab > SHOW / HIDE POST TYPE AND CATEGORY ON MAP
Un-tick for the maps you want to use.
