You don’t need to create any yourself, all your custom fields are on the top.
The lower ones are for developers to create their own.

Look at the top, you can use text, textfield, select, radio, multiselect etc etc.
You just need to click on them and they will move to the right.

I was able to log in, and add a listing.

How would the system know where to save it, if there is no active user?

Can you explain what you mean with “can’t add new listings”? Frontend, backend, CSV import? What errors do you get?
