Question 1.
the map disappeared from GD Home, while it is added in the widget “GD Home Top Section”
1A. What could be the reason for that?
We will need to check your site for that. Please post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply so we can have a look.1B. Is there a way to set what to be displayed in that GD Home page in the map and the results below or it just show ALL of the entries all the time?
The GD Home Page will display all listings [but depending on widgets you use etc].Question 2.
2A. What is the way (trough shortcode?) to have similar pages as GD Home but with specific search results. For example to create a page named “PAGE 1” that would display a MAP and RESULTS below it the same way they appear in GD Home page, but only filtered by some criteria?
Every location has its own page, and every category, and custom post type etc.
There are also search pages.
I suggest you review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#directory
and add these shortcodes to a test page to get all the links to the automated GD pages:[gd_location_tab_switcher] [gd_advanced_search] [gd_login_box] [gd_cpt_categories] [gd_location_switcher]2B. More specific – we need search results based on CONTINENTS, what is the best way to achieve this?
Every country has its own page, but not continents.Should we add a tag for every entry on which continent it is or this can be automated? Should we perform search results based on manually listing all of the countries of that specific continent (is this possible?)
See above.
You could use tags or a custom field, eg a SELECT custom field that contains a list of continents.

3A. Any documentation on how to make GeoDirectory multilingual using WPML?
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/?post_type=post&s=wpml&cat=03B. How to MANUALLY duplicate all the entries that don’t have translation (ONLY THEM) to propagate to all other languages (so they appear on search results, otherwise they wouldn’t appear (!))
Look in the sidebar when adding or editing the listing.3C. Any idea/suggestion how to do that AUTOMATICALY (trough a hook/plugin or whatever) – so when there is a new entry submitted by a client, it is automatically duplicated to all other languages as well that are defined in the system (for example if one submits an entry while he was in the German language), but the site has English as well, the entry to have in BOTH languages.
WPML cannot automatically translate.Thanks

Thanks
Selecting from the suggestions will give listing IN Cagliari: https://www.jumpinjob.com/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&sgd_placecategory%5B%5D=&s=+&snear=&set_location_type=3&set_location_val=2&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=
If you use the Google Map API, you can also search AROUND THE CENTER OF Cagliari.
Currently, the API cannot locate Cagliari. Thanks
I have reviewed these but it doesn’t answer my question. If I try to add a listing and enter the address as ‘worcester’ then the first thing that comes up is Worcester, England.
I guess your default location is in the UK, and adding listings is not related to searching locations. When searching near the centre of Worcester I get listings that are in the UK:
https://nurturingbirthdirectory.com/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_place&s=+&snear=worcester&sgeo_lat=41.821433&sgeo_lon=-71.427063Adding “Europe” at “Add location specific text to (Near) search for Google” probably does not assist.
It would need to be a country or region or city.Did you investigate https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/search-filters-overview/#near
Thanks
Set your search radius large enough at GD > General > Search tab > Limit squared distance area to X miles (helps improve search speed)
Also review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#near
Thanks
Please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/
Location searches are determined by the Google API.
If you only have listings in the UK, then review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-general/#specificSearching NEAR THE CENTRE OF Wales will not give listings IN Wales, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#near
Thanks
Please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/pricing-manager-v2-beta-released/
Thanks
PS: please add V2 related topics to the correct V2 sub-forum
It looks like you don’t understand the merging process.
You need to select all locations you have in the same suburb, and then select the correct one, and all will mill merge into one.For example, you have:
Bourke Street, VIC, Australia
Collins Str, Victoria, Australia
Melbourne City, Vic, Australia
Melbourne, Victoria, AustraliaSelect all 4, then merge selecting “Melbourne, Victoria, Australia” as the primary.
All listings in the 4 locations will have their address changed to “Melbourne, Victoria, Australia”.The geolocation is not your problem, the only problem you have is that you imported street names as cities, and cities as regions.
You can export all your listings, correct the addresses in the CSV, and reimport with the same post IDs, overwriting your current listings.
That will fix the addresses for the listings too, but it will not delete the bad cities from you locations. That can only be done by merging. What are you wanting to show?
Upload the video to your site, and then link to it?The process is automated if you use it correctly.
Bad imports will give bad data.It is not correct to edit all the cities, you will just end up with heaps of same cities.
You need to merge any locations that fall within that suburb into the correct location.
That will create one location from all the others you merged. The Google API creates the correct address if you add the listings in the frontend or backend.
Your addresses are incorrect because of a poor CSV import. Thanks
Those are sent to the WP admin.
