May 9, 2018 at 9:42 pm in reply to: Geodirectory stylesheet not loading when site is viewed in Incognito mode #429808I cannot see any difference between the image of the homepage and the homepage when viewing in incognito window.
Also, the WP admin details no longer work, so we cannot login to check, but anything that id different when logged in or logged out will be because of your customizations.Have you set a default location as Kor suggested?
It sounds very much like you did not set a default location before activating the Location Manager addon, so your default location is now “all, all, all” instead of “Los Angeles, California, United States” for example. Thanks
Searches are IN or NEAR THE CENTER OF.
IN searches are only possible with the autocompleter.
NEAR THE CENTER OF searches calculate the latitude and longitude of the center of whatever you enter, and then lists the relevant listings within the set radius.
If you enter a street and number address, lat and lng will be of that location.
If you enter a ZIP, lat and lng will be the center of that ZIP area.
Etc.Jeff, it is explained here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#near
The NEAR search is for searches near landmarks, like statue of liberty, world trade center etc.
If you want all listings IN a region or city, the location switcher is your friend (or the autocomplete – https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/search-filters-overview/#near )The default GD search is not an IN search, but a search NEAR THE CENTER OF.
For example, assuming your search area is set to 40 square miles:
If you enter World Trade Center, you will get listings around that building.
If you enter United States, you will get listings somewhere around Buffalo in Kansas, because that is where Google situates the center of the United States.
If you enter California, you will get listings somewhere in the Sierra National Forest. If I am not mistaken, this same question has been looked at before, so I will get the developers to comment in case that a solution is indeed possible. Thanks.
Hi Marcus
No that is not possible. For the map to work, at least one category needs to be ticked. Nothing ticked will behave as if all are ticked.
Thanks
Good to hear 🙂
You’re welcome 🙂
Yes, you can claim any CPT you add at Geodirectory – Listing Claims – Choose post types for show claim listing link
Thanks
ISSUE #1 and ISSUE #2
Looks fine to me, see image 1.ISSUE #3
You can achieve that with using our UsersWP plugin: http://userswp.io/
You will be able to set the redirect page on login.Thank you.
Add a sort for that hidden custom field then.
That will only work on the Listing pages, not in shortcodes. Thanks

Maybe in the next 24 hours, if it is a GeoDirectory problem and not a server problem.
Thanks
