I am guessing you are re-importing with a blank description.
If you re-import any new description will overwrite the existing one, just like any other field.
To prevent that make sure to export the current listings, make changes but not to the description, so when you re-import the new description matches the existing description. Thanks
How can I correctly add more columns for social media and site URLs not in the downloaded template?
Add the required custom fields and export your current listings to get the matching format. Is it possible to run an Instagram feed to the photo section of the listing, so that it appears in both the listing itself and in the thumbnails that display under the map?
Have a look at:

That may depend on your theme, so we would need more information.
If you cannot get it to work, and it is a GeoDirectory theme you use, post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply and we will see how we can assist. Thanks
Thanks everyone 🙂
That site is not a WordPress site, and does not use GeoDirectory, but with a bit of custom work and the Franchise Manager, something similar can be done.

ThanksThis reply has been marked as private. You do not need WPML to translate the site, only if you want a multilingual site.
You need to use a different setting: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#wpml
WPML > Languages > Language URL format: select Different languages in directories (examples: yoursite.com/en, yoursite.com/fr etc)See more info at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/?post_type=post&s=wpml&cat=0
and https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/category/translation/Thanks
If you change a slug you need to re-save WP Settings > Permalinks.
If there is still anything that needs investigation, post your WP admin details in a private reply. Thanks

Maybe you can use the Events addon or a third party plugin called business hours:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/events/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/gd-business-hours-2/Or you could add a MULTISELECT custom field where your users can select the months they are open, then visitors can search by selecting the opening month: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#select
Thanks
You’re welcome 🙂

You can change location by changing the slug of the location page:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#introIn the Pages section of your WP admin dashboard, you can change the title and the slug of the page.
Adding this CSS should make the top section as small as possible:
sd-location .featured-area {height: 0 !important}I suggest you add the location switcher: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/multilocations/#main
I don’t know why the map does not show the listing. I can see you have hidden the map legend, maybe you also ticked not to show some categories on the map.
We would need your WP admin details to check. Thanks
