You’re welcome 🙂
I doubt any of us use WordFence, and this seems to be a question for WordFence, rather than GD. But I will get a developer to have a look at your question too.
You mean the layout of the tab content?
GD > Franchise Settings > General Settings tab > LayoutYou can hide some of the data with CSS, like this would hide the description:
#gd_tab_franchisesTab .geodir-entry-content {display: none;}HI James, please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/franchise-addon-filters/
ThanksThat is most likely due to the size of the image and the memory limit of your site.
Please refer to this answer from stackexchange. http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/59763/how-to-fix-http-error-when-uploading-images
Let us know if it helps. Thanks
Have a look at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/dos-and-donts/
Create at least one category for your Custom Post Types like Places or Events, AND each listing has to be in at least one category, or your listings will not show on the frontend of your site
Please also note our support policy if you need further assistance:
Support for Free Users (non members) is provided for website where only the core plugin is installed and used. If addons are installed and used (even only one addon), the user will have to subscribe again before being able to receive support.
Thanks
This reply has been marked as private.Search and sorting are not the same.
Have a look here to search by categories or custom fields:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/You cannot sort by categories on the Listings page, but you can add the Popular Category widget to the Listings page, so your visitors can select the category they like.
Sorry, there is no option for that.
That is not possible, WordPress does not allow people posting unless they are a registered user, so it has to be a 2 step process.
ThanksYou’re welcome 🙂
I’ll set this to resolved, feel free to open a new topic if you have more problems.Happy New Year too !!
Thanks for letting us know, but be aware that will only work for windows that are more than about 1000px high, and will push the footer out of site on smaller sized windows.
January 3, 2018 at 1:08 pm in reply to: buddypress translation file not showing on front-end #411296Problem 1: This page has text: ” Registering for this site is easy. Just fill in the fields below, and we’ll get a new account set up for you in no time.”
issues with text: it’s not translating eventhough I specifically found the text in the .po file and changed it to spanish.
I cannot see the translation in the PO file at /wp-content/languages/plugins/buddypress-es_MX.po, see image 1.You will also notice” account details”, ” Profile Details”, ” complete Sign up”, header text in English.
None of these are translated either, see image 2.What is also weird about this page right now when the site is in Spanish is that the Login in box on the bottom right hand corner has text in spanish but it’s from some older file I uploaded in the past. It’s as if it’s holding on to old translation text.
Those strings are translated.ALL of this text appears in the buddypress .po file i have uploaded via FTP. It’s there and it’s translated, but it does not appear OR the spanish that does appear is not what I inserted.
See above, not all are translated. All of this is Buddypress related.Problem 2: If you are on the homepage and click on the ” mi Cuenta” tab in the navigation, you will see the login box. This login box is all in English, but the text I translated it in the Geodirectory .po file. I searched for it and it’s there, yet it’s not translating.
Those would be part of the theme, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-themes/ for correct place for theme translation file.
In your case, you should have this file: wp-content/themes/supreme-directory/languages/es_MX.po ,
not /wp-content/languages/plugins/supreme-directory-es_MX.poHowever, please note, on the homepage, if you scroll to the bottom of the page, the login box text there is translated! I don’t understand why it shows up on the bottom login box but not the one that appears in the navigation.
Because that is the GD core plugin login widget and is translated in /wp-content/languages/plugins/supreme-directory-es_MX.po/geodirectory-es_MX.po -
