In the widget, the categories cannot be changed to a drop down.I cannot replicate that on my test site, it all works fine there.

That is why that button is removed by default from the frontend, unless you have good control over who can add the posts. The second image you post is from a WP frontend posting plugin I am guessing, which alows that option.
I think there is a way to add an “Add image” button [which you already can do if you use the text tab], but not sure how. Maybe Paolo knows, I think he might have misunderstood your question.

If you do not want to be notified when new listings are submitted, you will never get an email that they are edited either.
If you want notifications of edits, you need to set
Site BCC Options > Listing published > YES
Admin Emails > Notify Admin when listing edited by Author > YESSite BCC Options > “Send to friend” > NO will not stop the send a friend feature. If you do not want users to send a listing to their friends, you need to remove that option using the Payment Manager (or hide with CSS).

All CPTs will show on the map if there is at least one active listing in the relevant CPT.

ThanksYou must have renamed the default uploads folder to “images”.
The easiest would be to rename it back to the default “uploads”, that is where your media is kept automatically.This reply has been marked as private.If it set to “draft” you must manually publish the listing.
Your event publishes OK, if you click “Publish” in the sidebar when editing the listing.
