So, quick update to this. The export works fine if I do a full export. It only throws the error when I use the date range option. feels like a bug.
Wow,
So here’s what happened. It’s been a long week 🙂
I was trying to import Listings as locations instead of listings.
sigh.
PICNIC error – Problem In Chair, Not In Computer
This reply has been marked as private. Thanks for your response Kor. As far as I can tell the functionality on this page only allows for vertical changes. I’m looking for the ability to move them horizontally using more of a two column approach in order to shrink the amount of vertical space being used for a single listing.
This reply has been marked as private.A separate question, since I’m learning this. What is the appropriate use of the Edit CSS function in settings? I see that the same code I can run in the Style.css for my theme didn’t work in Edit Css directly. What’s the difference?
Thanks!
Jonathanyeah, so, uh. Nevermind. Apparently it was successful. Just took some time to show up.
Hey guys,
I think you’ll find this interesting. I was messing around with WP Super Cache today and messed up and had to contact WP support. I’m using the new(ish) WP Business hosting account. The tech told me that I should never install a 3rd party plugin for caching, performance or security. He said they are all built in to the backend. He said specifically that WP Super Cache is built in to the back end.
We’ll see how it goes, but I thought you should know that. If it’s true and it works well then it’s another hosting option that would be viable for your customers.
Thanks,
JonathanHah, never mind. I finally installed BuddyPress and this problem is remediated pretty much automatically. Thanks for your patience.
Hi Kor,
I’m getting a little better understanding the order of things with the credentialing now. Let me do a better job of saying what’s happening.
When a person creates a new account for the first time they put their name and email in and hit “Register Now”. When this happens the user is taken to a wordpress login page and an email is generated.
I don’t want them to get moved to a wordpress login page. My site is being built on wordpress but a visitor to the site won’t know anything about that. If they get taken to this page they won’t know what happened. What are my options for preventing this from happening?
Thanks,
JonathanYes! Thank you Paolo, I knew it had to be a setting. Thanks for pointing the way.
Thanks Alex. I avoided the autofill for 2 reasons. First, I’m not a coder, so frankly I’m the type who will avoid making a code change if I can help it. But truthfully I knew that I was looking for had to be a standard functionality. I just didn’t know where to look.
Thanks!
