is hikes a tag or a category?

Your condition is looking for a category hikes.

If that’s a tab you should use:

If ( has_term ( ‘hikes’, ‘gd_place_tags’ ) ) {//rest of the function}

I think you are also making confusion with the active tab code.

Hi,

you should use the top widget section of the search page. If you don’t see it in appearance >> widgets, it is because you need to enable it in GeoDirectory >> Design >> Search.

both things are done localizing wordpress.

In Settings >> General select your RTL language, then follow this docs to translate the plugins and themes:

In GD Detail Bottom Section, you have to enalbe in GeoDirectory >> Design >> Detail.
