p.s. the default URl of the add listing page is:
http://yoursite.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place
the last part, ?listing_type=gd_place change depending your CPT. FOr example for events it would be: http://yoursite.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_event
Than you can also attach a variable for a specific price package:
http://yoursite.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place&package_id=5
Hope this helps…

December 2, 2015 at 6:37 pm in reply to: Way to show review preview (snippet) on Archive page? #62291Hi,
at the moment this is not possible without a customization, unless you are using Whoop that includes this out of the box.
Thanks,
Hi,
it is not feasible I’m sorry. We would have to rebuild the plugin from ground up…
It’d be much easier and cheaper for you to pay a server admin to setup a fast and scalable dedicated server or cloud instance for you to run GD on it, than for us to make it compatible with WP Engine caching system.
Thanks
Hi,
did you turn on the advanced editor in Notifications >> Options, to style notifications?
That should allow you to add all the html that you want in them.
Let us know,
Thanks
Hi,
please provide a link where we can see the problem.
Yes, you can get something similar adding css to your child theme only. (it will require some work though…)
Thanks
Hi,
please provide admin credentials in a private reply and we will have a look at your settings.

You are welcome 🙂
Hi,
I was testing on desktop on your website and I have the same problem.
As far as I know you can ask them to disable caching. Of course it doesn’t make much sense to use WP Engine if you can’t use thier cache and that’s why we suggest not to use Managed WP Hostings with GeoDirectory, unless you have full control over the caching system.
GeoDirectory uses PHP Sessions for locations and any caching system that breaks Sessions will never be compatible.
Thanks
p.p.s
The correct schortcode should be:
[gd_event_listing category=0 post_number=10 layout=1 add_location_filter=false listing_width=100 list_sort=upcoming list_filter=upcoming character_count=0 title=Upcoming Events ]You are missing the paramenter
list_filter=upcoming
Thanks
Hi,
I’m getting a fatal error :
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/content/18/13957318/html/wp-content/plugins/geodir_payment_manager/geodir_payment_functions.php on line 84
Are you customizing the Prices and Payments add-on?
Let us know,
Thanks
p.s. we’ll need FTP details to fix your current problem
Yes you will have to disable their caching, it’s known to break PHP Sessions.
The only caching system that is 100% compatible with GD is GD Booster.
Thankshi,
do you receive any of the regular wordpress notifications? For example, if you leave a comment on a page of blog post, do you get that notification?
Let us know,
Thanks
