That could be due to your price settings too. How many categories are you allowing per listings?

Actually the best solution would be to remove it with this in functions.php of your child theme:

remove_action('geodir_before_listing', 'gd_genesis_listing_page_title_bar', 9);

p.s. if the problems with malwares don’t stop, make sure to run an antivirus on the computer that you use to send files via FTP to your servers. Most of the time that’s where the problem is…

You will need to create the correct location for each wrong location in order to merge it.

So if you have :

United States – CA – Los Angeles

You must create 1st:

United States – California – Los Angeles

Than merge them.

If you wish to try and do this directly in your database, you could try using a tool like this:

https://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/

In that case you would install the tool, search for CA in all tables and replace it with California.

I believe it will take you less time.

Once you managed to clean up the location, we can worry about the seo settings.

that new page doesn’t have widget areas other than the normal page sidebar.

You could use shortcodes instead of widgets.

Otherwise you need to create a page template with new widget areas to compose your home page using widgets.

the answer to the 1st question is no, that is not possible. Anyone can add both listings type independently.

The answer for the second question is yes. You will need the Prices and Payments add-on for that. On any event price, where you want this to be active, you must enable the option “Link business” in the “Event Features Only” section of the price (down at the bottom of the settings page).
