Hi,
I fear that I don’t understand what you mean…
Can you please try to explain?
Hi,
that is not a GeoDirectory widget. I believe you are using the default RSS widget?
You can have a look at this: http://forum.tutorials7.com/397/change-default-wordpress-widget-display-nofollow-target-blank
Instead of modifying the core WordPress file though, I’d suggest to copy the entire widget class, paste it in your theme functions.php file, rename the name of the widget in class/function/constructor and create your own customized widget.
This way updating WordPress will not wipe out your customizations.
More info about this with some examples:
http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-a-custom-wordpress-widget/
Thanks
Hi Chris,
are all plugins up to date?
please provide admin credentials in a private reply and we will have a look at settings for you.
Let us know,
Thanks
Hi,
please add this to your custom css:
a.mobile-right {display:none !important;}I’ve flagged this for the developer too.
Thanks for spotting it.
Hi,
sorry about that, but there is no such option.
Thanks
Hi,
you can’t update because you haven’t synced your themetailors.com account with your account here on the forum. You still appear as a “free user”
Please follow instructions here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/getting-access-to-the-support-forums/
In the listing of the screenshot (Boutique Fashion Lovers), there was no email address. I’ve added a fake one [email protected] and now the Pedir Informações appeared. The email address will never appear, or you will expose your advertisers to spam.
The white space in the map bubble is supposed to show text info about that listing. Given that your theme had white text it was not visible. I’ve change the color of the text for the bubble only to dark grey and now it looks as it should. You can see the css that I added for this in GeoDirectory >> Design >> Scripts >> Custom Css.
Let us know if this is all.
Thanks
Hi,
with GeoDirectory you can create public directories. You will need to integrate a membership plugin to do something like that. Possibly s2member could help you achieving that.
Thanks
Hi,
in that dropdown, only Custom Post Type will appear. So if you want anything else there, you’ll need other CPTs.
Categories can be shown via Advance Search Filters.
Here you have an example with search by distance: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/advanced-search-filters-addon-search-by-distance/
Doing the same for category is pretty simple. Go to GeoDirectory >> practitioner settings, open the category field to see it’s settings (in the right side of the screen), scroll down to the last settings and enable use as filter.
Now go to the advance search tab and enalbe category as a filter. You will see a customize my search button now next to your search form and when clicked, the category select will appear.
let us know how you went.
Thanks
HI,
that is correct, to change any default text string of the plugins, you must do it via translation files.
Let us know how you went,
Thanks
Hi Mark,
I’ve added a task for the developers to look into this.
Thanks
Hi,
if I understood right, you want to create a Custom post type “People” like Places and Events?
If that is correct, you need the Custom Post Type add-on installed and create the CPT people.
Let me know if I misunderstood your questions.
Thanks
Hi,
for the 1st part, theme compatiblity settings have nothing to do with what you want to do. That is pure css editing. (not part of support we provide here)
The 2nd part instead should be feasible via theme compatiblity settings. If you provide admin credentials in a private reply we will have a look.
Thanks
Hi,
please try to describe the issue with as many details as possible. Which right sidebar are you talking about?
I don’t understand…
Thanks
Hi,
you’ll need to modify that widget code and add target=”_blank” to the links it generates.
Let us know,
Thanks
HI,
are you using latest version?
Please provide a URL and admin credentials we will have a look.
Thanks
