Hi Adyp, our search only uses the AND logic. I understand for your setup the or logic would make more sense, but for 99% of directories the or logic isn’t useful, because it returns results that are too generic.

Example, if searching for a hotel with no smoking rooms that accept pets, results must have both elements the AND logic is the only way to go in this cases.

Hi,

the page background problem can be solved in GeoDirectory >> Theme Compatibility, by instructing GeoDirectory to use the html structure and thus the css of theme.

the system allows to add unlimeted photos in reviews, there is no option to limit them.

If you wish to see this option added, please suggest it here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/requests/

If many other members will vote for it, we will definitely consider it.

The developers will look into the video problem and let you know asap.

Hi,

I’ve asked to the developers to check, because it seems like some CSS is being totally ignored.

Not sure were the problem is coming from, but I suspect it could be due to one of the +80 plugins installed, which BTW are making your website close to unusable on same backend pages, specifically the widgets page.

If I can give a quick advise to improve your performaces here, please consider to break down your website in section using multisite. One subsite for each section with only the required plugins for that particular section active in each website. This would defintely make a difference on your website speed and usability.

We’ll keep you posted for the CSS problem.

you can add that as Category Top Description, where you also add the category icon.

That will appear on top of the description page.

GeoDirectory uses the WordPress comment system for reviews and there is no possible way to add a comment in wordpress without the comment body.

yes the autocompleter will not work with that search form, because it is not part of the plugin. It is part of the theme.

However if I search for the only city (los angeles) for which you have listings, I do get the 2 listings: http://backyardborrowed.com/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_backyard&s=+&snear=undefined&sgeo_lat=undefined&sgeo_lon=undefined&dist=los%20angeles

It will show the listing with the keyword in the title as perfect match and most relevant

It is not possible to search only titles without a customization of the search widget.
