Hi john,
I’m getting access denied again. Did you test them before sending them?
Can you access your FTP?
Let us know,
Thanks
HI,
there is an option to Enable the mouse scroll zoom for each map. However that will be effective for both desktops and mobiles.
Thanks
Hi,
I’m getting access denied. All you need to do is to ask to your server admin to make the .htaccess file writable from the server. Permissions 755 or 777.
Or after saving your permalinks, copy the rules provided and paste them on your htaccess file and save it.
If you don’t have an .htaccess file you can manully create it.
Otherwise please provide correct credentials for us to access your FTP.
Thanks
Hi,
this documentation is a bit old, but it explains with a quick example how GeoDirectory templating works: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/how-to-build-your-own-theme-compatibility-plugin/
Basically, each template is made with a set of actions. Each action can be removed and used somewhere else. This way you can totally rebuild the original templates all from within your theme’s functions.php or through a plugin.
If you send us a copy of the theme we could try and check it out in one of our test website.

Thanks,
Hi,
I’ll ask to the developers if it is an easy change to adopt it.
We’ll let you know.
Thanks
Hi,
you should copy the entire widget function in your child theme’s functions.php file and rename it to create your own “best of widget”.
The function is within this file: geodirectory_bestof_widget.php
While customizing the function you will notice that it calls other functions. If you need to modify them too, you simply copy the orginal functions still in your functions.php file, rename and customize them and use them in your new widget function.
After you are done customizing it, you need to register your new widget.
Hope it is clear enough.
Thanks
Hi,
in GeoDirectory >> Place Settings (or any other CPT) there is a tab Sorting Options.
This is the documentation for it: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#sorting
Let us know how you went!
Thanks
Hi again,
I replied to that one too in my 1st reply:
the tabs you can hide from settings in GeoDirectory >> Design >> Detail >> Exclude selected tabs from detail page.
Thank you 🙂
Hi,

Thanks
Hi,
the address is in the header of the email and clicking reply will use the correct email address.
Let us know if this helps.
Thanks
Hi again,
any gmail account would allow you to filter and forward.
However, if the plugins that send the notification that you need, already offer an option to send notification to other emails, woulodn’t that solve your problem?
We don’t need to look into other plugins to see how they did it, we are able to build anything we need, however there are priorities and this is not 1 of them as of yet.
Thank you
Hi,
the redirect_uri_mismatch normally comes from not following correctly point 5 and 6 of the documentation.
“5. Authorized JavaScript origins”: Enter the website address of your website without any sub-folders ex: ‘http://www.mysite.com/’
Note: match is exactly as your site, so if your site does not use WWW, leave it out.
“6. Authorized redirect URIs”: Enter your website address followed by the same specific URL ex: ‘http://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=geodir_ga_callback’Please delete that project and start over by adding the correct URL (with WWW in your case) to obtain new tokens.
Thank you
p.s. searching for redirect_uri_mismatch in the forum would have brought up several topics with this answer.
…and the link is?
Let us know,
Thanks
Hi,
please provide a link and admin credentials in a private reply (only staff can read them) and we will have a look. MultiNews author might have changed something recently.
Let us know,
Thanks
Hi Hennie,
I’m not able to replicate either problem, however, if you have problems with the location switcher, having only 9 locatoins, why don’t you create an alternative way of selecting your locations?
A menu item with sub-menus for example? Wouldn’t that make it all much easier?
Let us know,
Thanks
