Hi,
is_default in “geodir_custom_fields” database table.
ThanksHi Kirsten,
we will need to tweak GeoDirectory >> Theme Compatibility a bit to make sure GeoDirectory adapts to your theme template.
The theme is using its unique layout and GD can’t adapt to it automatically.
We are talking about few minutes of work, If you provide admin credentials in a private reply (only staff can read them) we will fix this for you.
Thanks
Hi Kent,
the error appears to be in the server configuration. The sessions folder is not writable.
Can you please ask to your server admin to make sure PHP sessions are enabled and the sessions folder is writable?
If you are using wpengine, make sure to turn of their caching system, which is not compatible with sessions.
Let us know,
Thanks
You are welcome 🙂
Hi Scott,
I’m not not sure I understand the problem, there shouldn’t be a default map address.
Where did you enter it?
If you provide admin credentials in a private reply (only staff can read them) we will have a look into your settings.
Thanks
this one worked, we are looking into it now…
Hi,
the problem here is simple, the 3 places share the exact same address. Once the 3 places will have different addresses, the map will zoom correctly. Currenlty in the widget options you have Map Auto Zoom enabled. If you disable it, it will use the zoom level you set.
Thanks
Hi kent,
I’m getting : ERROR: The password you entered for the username geodirectory is incorrect. Lost your password?
Can you please double check that it is correct?
Let us know,
Thanks
Hi John,
GeoDirectory cann’t work with permalinks set as default. Permalinks must be set to /%postname%/.
I can assure you that with default pemalinks it could never work since version 1.0.
Thanks

September 23, 2015 at 4:33 pm in reply to: SHow All Categories list in HTML with a List and sublists #54222Hi,
there is no way to modify that function without losing changes after every update.
It’d be easier to build a specific widget for something like that and you could copy those functions in your theme’s function PHP to customize it.
However I do agree a widget like that is needed. I’ve added a task for the developers to start working on it.
Thank you
You are welcome! 🙂
Hi,
no that is not a bug, that function hooks into the social sharing html (geodir_social_sharing_buttons_html). If you remove the social sharing you remove everything hooked into it’s html.
You’ll need to use a different hook, depending on what you have hidden on that sidebar.
You could try geodir_post_sidebar_html, however that could mess up the sidebar style if you don’t do it correctly.
Let us know how you went.
Thanks
