Because in GD Permalinks settings you selected add-an-organization as the add listing page, the link for event would be: https://writersonsocial.com/add-an-organization/?listing_type=gd_event

I’d suggest to get rid of all pages with shortcodes for the add listing forms and only use 1 page, possibly called “Add Listing”, to be selected in GD Permalinks for the add listing page.

Then use the variable at the end of the URL to select the different custom post type. In that case the link would be:

https://writersonsocial.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_event
https://writersonsocial.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_books
https://writersonsocial.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place (for organizations)
https://writersonsocial.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_siteandresources (for general listings)
https://writersonsocial.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_services.

I’ve just tested the shortcode and it works, not sure what you mean by it doesn’t work.

In any case getting the direct link for the add-listing page is pretty simple.

by default for events it is:
yoursite.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_event

For books would be:
yoursite.com/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_book

and so on.

Don’t worry about the date format, I’ve flagged it for Stiofan and I’m sure he will fix it, possibly already by tomorrow.
