Hi,
thanks for the review!
The problem with Geolocation and cache only happens on GoDaddy WordPress Managed plans. If you are on a normal GoDaddy VPS, the problem won’t come up.
Changing to HTTPS, if done properly will not create problems on your install and the geolocation options.
Personally I’m not a fan of GoDaddy for anything but buying domains. And I’m starting to prefer others for that too.
If it is within your budget, I’d recommend a 1GB DigitalOcean droplet via CloudWays.
We personally use it for our demos and we are satisfied with performances. You just need to make sure varnish is disabled and you can do that very easily. (there is a checkbox to turn it on or off like any other feature).

Thank you
You are welcome 🙂
Hi,
this would require a customization and we are willing to add new features only if voted by many members here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/requests/Thanks
Hi supergirl,
we have our demos installed on CloudWays using a DigitalOcean droplet with 1GB of RAM, 30GB Storage, 2TB Bandwidth, offering unlimited installations. We pay $15 month for it and we are satisfied with performances and we do recommend them.
You just need to make sure you disable varnish.
CloudWays also give you the choice to use other cloud services such as Amazon or Google cloud platform.
DigitalOcean is the cheaper one and the only things it doesn’t offer compared to the other 2, is the option to scale down. If you scale up to a better plan, you can’t scale back down.
While with Amazon and Google cloud you can, however prices are much higher. (almost twice as much).
Thanks
Hi,
in the template the right sidebar can only go below the main content, because it comes after the content as html element.
If you use the sidebar on the left in the detail settings, the content will go below the sidebar, because it comes after the sidebar as html element.
However the title in inside the content, so it will be at the end of the sidebar with all the rest.
Achieving what you want, would require the deatil page template to be customized.
Thank you
August 23, 2015 at 4:12 pm in reply to: Marker clusters work on home page map but not listing map #50526Hi,
this is normal. The Marker Cluster was designed to work for the Home Map that is the only map potentially showing a very high number of markers.
In the listings map you only see the markers corresponding with the listings visible on that same page in the main list.
So that when you click on the pinpoint link, the marker opens up in the map indicating the exact location of the place.
Thank you
hi again,
I’m sorry, I’ve just double checked and images are indeed not saved in the database with their full path. They are saved like this: /2015/08/7092_1005670_802427576483468_3928085714420204368_n.jpg. My apology.
However I’ve checked the function that is responsible for the output of the image in listings and it should use https by default if setup in general settings, so this is really strange.
I’ve asked to Stiofan to jump in, but without you admin and ftp credentials I doubt he will be able to tell us more.
Let us know,
Thanks

Hi,
1st of all please read our support policy : https://wpgeodirectory.com/support-policy/
This isn’t a chat. If there is a delay between replies, simply be patient.
Stars images cannot appear on buddypress activity for new reviews. At the moment this is not possible.
In a normal theme where GeoDirectory, Buddypress and integration add-on are installed, the activity log for new reviews is visible by all users, logged in or not, under yoursite.com/activity (or whatever page you have assigned to activity within buddypress settings).
I suspect your problems are due to the custom theme used. It doesn’t seem to have normal buddypress component. In case my assumption is wrong, please provide wp admin crededntials in a private reply so that we can have a look.
Quick question though, is that a live website you are working on?
Let us know,
Thank you
August 22, 2015 at 6:41 pm in reply to: Where within database are selected "Post fields" stored? #50417Hi,
In wp_geodir_custom_fields the column “packages”. If for example the “Time” Post Field is active only for price with package ID 1, in the “packages” column for the “Time” field it was say : 1
If it was active for pacakges 1 and 4 it would say: ,1,4
Thanks
I see them… see image attached
Please let me know if I misunderstood.
Thanks
