thank you for letting us know!
Hi,
The map shows listings only if there are results, if there are no results it loads a text message saying:
No Records Found
Sorry, no record were found. Please adjust your search criteria and try again.
There is no point in loading an empty map.
The map on the page you mention is on the right sidebar, but it can be moved on top and the message can be customized, however it is not possible to load the empty map.
Thanks
Hi Tom,
it must be finding a post id from somewhere and using that to generate the Related Listings.
That is a preview page, it is still not a post nor a custom post, there is no ID yet.
I’m not sure the plugin is using the filter correctly. It should be checking where it is adding something before adding it.

I don’t really understand your question.
Could you please explain what you want to see happening in details with possibly an example?
Thanks
Hi,
you as administrator, are you receiving regular wordpress notifications? For example if someone leave a comment on a post or page? If not, than you have a mail server problem. (nothing to do with GeoDirectory)
Many users solved with alternative SMTP plugins. https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/search/?bbp_search=smtp
The setting to set new listings to draft is in GeoDirectory >> Design >> Listings >> New listing default status.
Thanks
Try adding this to your custom css:
.geodir-loc-bar-in { margin: 0 auto; }Let us know,
Thanks
Make sure you are flagging entries of the custom post type as traslatable from within WPML.
This is the same problem you had few days ago.
Let us know ho you went.
Thanks
That is not an option. WooCommerce can’t be used to sell listings. Only our prices and payments add-on allows to do that.
Thanks

Hi,
you have the listing preview page set as your website front page in Settings >> Reading.
Any reason?
Hi,
please provide admin credentials in a private reply and we will have a look.
Just FYI : I see you are working on a live website where another directory is already installed. That’s a big mistake. You should be working on a staging server and then deploy the new updated website on the live server once it’s all installed and working.
Working like this, is like repairing a car while it’s running…
Thanks
Hi Miriam,
GeoDirectory will not perform well on shared hostings even if only few other plugins are installed, that is a fact. But WordPress in general requires more than a shared hosting for anything bigger than a tiny blog or a static website.
The optimal solution really depends on several factors.
Things such as:
1 Theme used (there are some themes that are so heavy that without extra plugins will choke on shared servers)
2 Number of plugins
3 Number of listings and traffic forecastedWe normally suggest to start at least with a decent VPS.
The best performances are to be expected on dedicated servers with 8gb of RAM or more. Thanks
August 4, 2015 at 4:03 pm in reply to: ReferenceError: geodir_advanced_search_js_msg is not defined #48079Hi,
The sidebar widget “best artwork” did not have any categories selected.
We have change this to set as “all” by default in next version in case nothing is selected by the user.
Thank you
HI,
if you remove the search widget we can’t help. 1 question, have you ever tried doing this yourself with firebug or chrome developer tools?
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
It’s really not that difficult and could be super useful, if developing websites is something you intend to keep on doing.
Let us know,
Thanks
