4) In apparance >> menu you can click screen options (top – right) and include places categories.
That will allow you to select any top level category as a new menu item
Otherise you can add them as custom links.
Let us know if we can set this as resolved.
Thanks
Hi,
the big image tabs seems to be behaving like this:http://demo.studiopress.com/news/
However on that studiopress demo I can’t see how the sidebar tabs should look like instead of how they look now.
In any case we added a task for developers to make sure our css doesn’t alter any other elements.
We should have this fixed in the next release. We’ll keep you updated.
Thanks
you are welcome, obviously you also have to move files from server to the other (themes, plugins, uloads).
Thanks
I can’t find tabs on any page of that demo, would you mind poiting out where we can see them?
Thanks
Hi,
There are only 2 way that by going to Events page you see the Events for your location.
1) Select the location 1st from the location switcher, than click event
2) Enable Geolocation. If user gives approval he’ll be redirected to his location and than he can click on Events and only see events around him.
Google GeoLocation requires approval from users and this approval can’t be skipped.
At the moment it looks like you added code in your htaccess file to redirect the location page to the home page (which will break the entire plugin)
Can you please verify your htaccess file and let us know what’s in there.
Thanks
Hi,
this is exactly the format used by geodirectory wp_X_geodir_xxx on multisite installs.
I’m not sure what is talking about (see image attached).
This is how I clone a website (easier than using any plugin).
1) login with phpmyadmin to the database of the website to clone and backup the entire database.
2) login with phpmyadmin to the database of the new website and import the entire database.
3) Download this search and replace utility: https://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/
4) Extract it on your desktop, rename the folder to something unique like mysearchandreplace and upload it to your server via FTP in the root of your website. it should appear next to wp-content / wp-admin / wp-includes folders.
5) visit the page corresponding to the utility: yoursite.com/mysearchandreplace
6) Find “youroldurl.com” replace with “yournewurl.com”
Done, this will also keep all widgets, menues and so on.
Thanks
do you have this option enabled or disabled?
GeoDirectory >> design >> script >> Stops the CSS files being minified and output as one.
Hi,
if I click the Events link on your website I’m sent here: http://www.eventgospel.com/events/
where I see the All Events page correctly?
Please provide admin credentials in a private reply and I’ll have a look at your settings.
Thanks
This reply has been marked as private.Hi,
I don’t see the location switcher anywhere on your website, however I noticed you don’t have the GD pages correctly in place.
Please go to GeoDirectory >> GD Tools and run the utility to correct GD Pages.
Than go to GeoDirectory >> Permalinks and make sure all 4 GD options have the bottom have a page assigned.
Let us know,
Thanks

Could you please at least provide a link so that we can check with firebug ourself or are you still on localhost?
Let us know,
Thanks
Hi,
this would require a customization. You can find an example here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/custom-fields-3/
Thanks
Hi,
I’ve already asked to the developers to look if there is a solution for this.
We will let you know,
Thanks
you are welcome
Hi,
WordPress doesn’t manage location, so WPML wasn’t built for that.
We would have to create a WPML add-on (and we are not interested) to tell WPML how to recognize GD Locations and be able to translate them all.
In addition you would need to potentionally translate thousands of regions and hundreds of thousands if not millions of cities, depending hwow big you directory is, making you location database potentionally bigger than what should be your core business (listings).
If you need a custom made application such as those probably used in your previous experiences, you would be looking at spending several thousands of USD for both the application and the server configuration.
Thank you
