    Yes, Best OF is to show the best rated listing, it doesn’t filter old or new events.

    Hi Helga,

    without seeing your website structure is difficult to help, but the right solution is to avoid presenting maps with so many listings at once.

    It can be done by reducing number of enabled categories as Stiofan suggested.

    If listings are spanning multiple locations, avoid using the Everywhere location, this will force users to browse smaller areas and possibly have efficient maps.

    If you have only 1 location and all 17k listing in few categories, another solution would be to remove the home map (browsing that many markers on a single map will never be user friendly anyway) and only use the listings map which will only show the same number of listings as in the main list and it will never choke.

    Stiofan and I are looking into all possible solution to make the map work with as many listings as possible considering also server side clustering.

    However a map with more than 5k markers or so, it will never be that useful.

    and if the problem persist, turn off rocketloader. That option is not compatible with GD. You should use GD Booster to do that.

    If you are trying to update them all together it could be your server timing out before it finished downloading them all.

    Remember you are downloading from 1 single server based in Europe, not from a datacenter like when updating any plugin coming from the wordpress.org plugins repository.

    Hi,

    I’ve asked to Stiofan how to translate that. I think we will need an extra setting to define GA language, because that is data served by Google Analytics.

    1) The number of online visitors visiting that page (real time).
    2) No you can’t

    Hi,

    after downloading the plugin to update them, you can only do it via FTP by overwriting the original plugins.

    You can’t re-install a plugin that is already installed.

    In any case this isn’t a problem created by our products, they are hosting issues and should be addressed uniquly to your server admin. If they fail to fix them, you should consider using better hosting provider.

    Google Translator is adding a script that doesn’t like to be concatenated by GD booster. Deactivating that plugin GD Booster works fine.

    I’ll to Stiofan if he can have a look and how to tell GD Booster to avoid concatenating that file.
