    Hi,

    the question were clear and the answers remain the same:

    1) without the Prices and Payments add-on there are no limits to the number of categories a business can select.

    Once you install that addon you can manipulate the add listing form creating prices plans (that can be free of charge too) where you can, for example, limit the number of categories accepted.

    2) No, each listing can only appear in 1 location. 1 Marker per map. If they have 2 locations, they have to insert 2 listings.

    Thank you

    I’ve asked to Stiofan to have a look, he might also need phpmyadmin/cpanel and FTP.

    Thanks for letting us know,

    I’m sure you can, but I’m not 100% sure Stiofan approved the pull request on the GitHub version yet. If he hasn’t he will tomorrow (today he was off)

    Thanks for your patience,

    Hi Darren,

    this was an old bug in that slipped into the payment manager few weeks ago and was fixed by Stiofan right away.

    Are you using the latest version of the Prices and Payments add-on?

    in case you are, please provide a url and admin credentials and I’ll ask the devs to have a look at your case.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    each listing can only be in one location. You can define features of each listings (how many categories, images and which field to enable/disable) using the Prices and Payments addon: https://wpgeodirectory.com/addons/prices-and-payments/

    Thanks

    I’ve imported files with over 20k listings on our dedicated server in one file.

    It really depends on your server’s resources, but I think that on any decent VPS, files with +5000 listings should be a problem.

    Our import is Ajax based, so it does 1 listings at a time to avoid time out problems…

    Let us know how you went!

    The import export feature is quite new and some fine tuning could still be nevessary.

    Thanks

    The database accept it, the problem happened when you went to GD Tools and ran the tool to create the custom fields translations.

    I’ll ask to the developers if there is a way to prevent this, but I my impression is that you didn’t even need to do that…

    Thanks

    It really depends what you want to achieve, but with custom fields name that long, the only thing that appears to look good would be something like this:

    div.geodir-filter-cat {
        float: left;
        margin-right: 5%;
        width: 45%;
    }

    Add it to your custom css in GeoDirectory >> design >> scripts.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

    Hi,

    the “my listings” page is this one:

    http://yoursite/author/username/?geodir_dashbord=true&stype=gd_place

    The username part of the URL is dynamic, each user has its own.

    There are several plugin allowing for redirect after login, but I’m not sure about one that can redirect to a dynamic page.

    Otherwise, below the GD >> login box widget, after logging in you can show a link to this page. (see image attached)

    Another option would be to install buddypress and our buddyoress integration. In this case the dashboard of listings is integrated in buddyrpess profile and to redirect to a buddypress profile after login is much easier: https://www.google.com/search?q=buddypress+redirect+user+to+profile+after+login&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

    Thanks

    Hi,

    this line of your db-language.php file was breaking your website:

    __('Murrie\'s Mark', GEODIRECTORY_TEXTDOMAIN);

    When adding apostrophes in custom fields, you should use html codes: http://www.ascii.cl/htmlcodes.htm

    __('Murrie's Mark', GEODIRECTORY_TEXTDOMAIN);

    Should be fixed now.

    Thanks

    It is my understanding that you can leave that blank and it will set no limits.

    I’ll ask to the developers to confirm.

    Thanks

    Hi Jan,

    currently the neighbourhood system is very basic. It only creates the location page for each neighbourhood created, but not much else.

    It is in June’s roadmap to completely rebuild it and improve it.

    At the moment I would personally avoid using it.

    Thanks
