Hi,
the codex with the list of all files, functions, actions and hooks is here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/codex/
Here you can find an example of how to create a new tab and put custom content in it:

Thanks
Hi,
I’m not sure I understand…
From the back end you can select whatever price package you have available while creating a listing.
Obivously if you select a paid package, you will be giving it “for free” to that listing and no payment will be really involved…
Please try to explain exactly what you are looking for if I’ve misunderstood.
Thanks,
The file name for the 1st is:
Geodir Payment Manager
The second is a 3rd party plugin for which we provide integration: http://affiliatewp.com/
Thank you
Hi,
FTP is a software that let’s you navigate your server’s folders.
If you are Windows user, I suggest WinSCP as FTP client http://winscp.net/eng/download.php
You will need your FTP credentials, these are provided by your hosting provider.
File protocol should be FTP (port 21 and that should change automatically) unless differently specified (could be SFTP port 22). You also need hostname, username and password.
See image: http://wiki.dreamhost.com/images/b/b0/16_WinSCP.png
Once you access your server, you will find a www or public_html folder. Inside of it you will find your wordpress install including the wp-content folder, click on it and you’ll find the plugins folder. At this point you can follow instructions provided above.
Knowing what a FTP is and how to use it is a minimum requisite for making a website with WordPress on your own (saving a lot of money).
Being GeoDirectory a WordPress plugin, it requires minimum that you know how to deal with WordPress and we give this for granted.
If you were under the impression that you could make a website with GeoDirectory without knowing at least the basics of how to manage WordPress or the hosting server, I am really sorry, but I don’t think we can be blamed for this.
Thank you
Hi Kyle,
it looks like the tmp folder used by PHP Sessions isn’t writable on your server.
You should change permission to make it writable or ask to your server admin to do so.
That should solve this, let us know how you went.
Thanks!

Hi,
it looks like you installed the Stripe Payment Gateway without installing the Prices and Payments addon.
Also you installed the AffiliateWP integration, without having AffiliateWP installed.
Please login via FTP and move the 2 add-ons out of the wp-content/plugins folder to get your website to work again.
Than install the 2 missing plugins (Prices and Payments addon and AffiliateWP) before moving back the Stipre and AffiliateWP integration add-ons in the plugins folder and activate them.
This information is available in both add-ons pages:
1) AffiliateWP integration requires both AffiliateWP plugin and Prices and Payments addon installed. (https://wpgeodirectory.com/addons/affiliatewp-integration/)
2) Stripe Payment Gateway for GeoDirectory perfectly integrates and extends the Prices and Payments Addon. (https://wpgeodirectory.com/addons/stripe-payment-gateway/)
Thank you
no Bet, I think Guust miunderstood your question.
Once you created your categories and sub-categories, you can import listings and add: “category, subcategory” in the category field and the listing will be added for both.
But you currently can’t import sub-category via CSV file with the new import/export tool.
Kiran already fixed this and it will be in the next version. There will be an extra field named “parent”. If the field is left blank you add a category if in the field you write a categeory name, the new entry will be added as a sub-category for that parent catgeory.
Thanks
p.s. I replied to your email but got a delivery error. I’ll reply here.
To sync the new add-on purchased simply go to your account page and click again on the sync forum access link : https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/members/bethannon/
Let us know
Make sure to only use Open Office or Libre Office.
This are the only 2 CSV editing softwares that we know for sure it will work and that we support.
If using one of the 2 still doesn’t work, provide url and admin credentials for the website and we will have a look at your issue.
Thanks
My current IP is: 189.149.197.156
It’s not a static IP, so it sometimes changes.
Let’s hope it doesn’t change while we do this…
Let us know,
Thx
Just FYI
Selecting the default category will only change the URL of the listing to use the default category in the permalink.
We have struggle to find a solution to give priority to a category marker instead of another when a listing is assigned to more than one category, but with Google Maps this is practically impossible.
It will show the marker of the category with the lower ID no matter what we do.
Sorry about it, but it’s really not our fault in this case.
I haven’t got a link yet and it could be different for each website depending on your settings…
yes, long time ago….
Thanks for letting us know and good luck for the future.
Hi Bet,
I’ve asked to Kiran and we overlooked importing subcategories with the new category CSV import/export feature.
We already added it and it will be in the next version.
I think Kiran already pushed the changes into the development version available on GitHub.
If it isn’t yet, it’s because Stiofan must approve it before and today Stiofan is off. So it could be that it won’t available until tomorrow.
Thanks
