It will send you an email for every new listing added. For comments wordpress takes care of that by default.
Are there plans for a control suite where you can quickly visualize all the posts and comments that are being submitted and are waiting for approval?We never though about it and nobody ever brtought it up, it seems like a good idea to submit to members voting here.

you need to add widgets to GD Home content section widget area to show something below the map.
The location pages are basically GeoTargeted home pages: http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/layout/
If you want to see the paginated list for 1 category in that location the link would be:
See the difference is mainly here /location/ that changes to /corvette-club-directory/ and adds the category name at the end?
To access that link you should just add the popular category widget somewhere or the popular post view widgets as explained above.
You are always using the Home page in the listings page. You should change to the listings map to have consistency between the map and the list below.
Let us know if you need more assistance. If you feel like sharing your wp admin credentials in a private reply, I can help you adding few example widgets to get you started.

Currently you can’t.
The only way would be to 301 redirect your home page to the places page, but that wouldn’t be ideal I’m sure.

we have in plan to develop a shortcode for listings with pagination, so they can be placed anywhere.
Currently there is no easy solution for this.
Paginated listings can only be seen in the CPT page: yoursite.com/places for example.

this is the error “The property Rating / count of an object of type Rating is not recognized by Google.”
Basically he doesn’t know what to do with that number, but this shouldn’t prevent the valid number to appear.
Google doesn’t automatically show ratings in search results even if you have 100% valid rich snippets.It’s totally up to them and it is normally in realtion with your page authority. This because in the past they have been abused by spammers. See here for more:
In any case this is a bug and we can remove it quite quickly, so I flagged it for developers.

In home page you can only add listings via a widget and that limits the number of listing to a fixed number, without pagination.

If yes, go to edit any listing and you will see the expiration part on the top of the right sidebar of the listings edit form.

Yes with that function you can show a tab content, inside another tab.
With a little tweaking, you can probably use it for your need.

send to friend on “share this” can be disabled and many members do, because it slows down the website. Some removes all of it.
We think it’s better to have our own form instead of linking to add this for that reason, in addition using a propietary form looks more professional.
