Hi Memeworx,
it appears that you didn’t update all addons too.
As Stiofan mentioned, the fix is in location manager or CPT manager or both!
Thanks
Ok,
this is a weird one that I have to pass onto Stiofan. It appears that the 1st ajax call to load the advance search filter isn’t triggered at all.
If I change CPT from Hospitality to service and than again to hospitality and I click Customize My Search the filters are there.
I can’t recreate this on my test websites.
Stiofan will let you know asap.
Thanks
Hi,
I just re-saved a category and it seems to have fixed it.
Let me know if it isn’t.
Thanks
Hi,
please provide a URL and wp admin credentials and we will have a look at your problem ASAP.
Thanks
Hi,
The addon is tested and from my point of view is ready for beta and can be seen working here: http://dropct.com/enfold
Tomorrow Stiofan will do a final round of testing and will have to create a GD tool to convert few details in the DB.
I hope by the day after tomorrow the beta will be out. Once we know it’s stable enough we will release it as final.
Thanks
Hi,
strange because it seems to have fixed it for everyone else.
Please provide URL and wp admin credentials and we will have a look asap.
Thanks
Try adding this to your custom css in GD >> Design >> Scripts
.geodir-tabs-content li { clear: left; }It should amke the tab load cleaner and prevent that error by default.
I’ll ask Stiofan to include this in core too.
Thanks
Hi Design,
I’ve just added the changelog for today’s release and there is a mention for category icons:
Category icons not always updated when changed – FIXED
Please try to update and let us know,
Thx
hi again,
Yes Cpanel could help, Hostgator shouldn’t be the problem, unless for that plan they have some sort of default caching in place. Could you ask?
Stiofan will look into it tomorrow 1st thing.
Thanks
Hi,
In GeoDirectory categories and locations are 2 separate things.
Categories are used to categorize the listings
Example: Commercial Meaderies
Locations are used to define the Geographical location :
Example: United States or Michigan or Detroit.
Whenever you add a listing, you are already adding an address, country, region and city (Location).
Example: in http://wpgeo.directory/ you can see the location switcher in the menu. It is the 1st from the right in the main menu and says Change Location. There you can click on the region tab for example and select Illinois : http://wpgeo.directory/directory/united-states/illinois/
If you than click on category Landmark you see all listing that belong to category Landmark in region Illinois. http://wpgeo.directory/attractions/united-states/illinois/landmark/
I hope this is clearer.
Thanks
hi,
you can see here documentation on how to create a wordpress plugin: http://codex.wordpress.org/Writing_a_Plugin
Normally plugins are loaded in alphabetical order based on the directory name, make sure your plugin is loaded before GeoDirectory.
Yes you would replace the entire function, it is pluggable.
The plugins in wordpress are loaded right before theme, so tweaking it in functions doesn’t do anything.
Thanks
Hi,
you have 8 listings per page times 25 pages, plus 5 listings in the 26th page.
8×25+5=205
Thanks
Hi Msala,
I’ve finished fixing your db and now when I edit a listing it picks up the correct city/region/country.
However the preview page still doens’t show anything in the Profile tab.
I’ve asked Stiofan to have a second look to see if he could think of anything else and he said:
“there seems to be some heavy caching going on, can u ask him to disable or tell us how to and I will look into it further?”I don’t see any caching plugin, what kind of server is that? Are you running varnish or any other server caching tools?
Let us know,
Thx
Hi,
I’m just trying to help you and through an image I can just see the error, but I can’t provide a solution.
Hope this explain? I still need a link to that page…
Thank you
Hi,
would you please tell me where are you getting the +300 number from?
Thanks
