Hi,
currently we are not really interested in providing a similar solution.
We think that if someone looks for something near a place, the result should be returned by distance.
If you need this, please request it here.
Should many other members show their interest, we will definitely consider it.
Otherwise you could hire a freelance developer to tweak the search following your desire.
Thank you
Hi,
should be by the end of this week or beginning next week the latest.
We are almost done with the biggest part. Now we just need to fine tune and test.
Thanks
hi,
please add this to your theme css:
#geodir_content { float: left; width: 67%; }There are various other things in the theme css that are clashing with the plugin css.
Example in that page the title text color is white on white background.
Just fyi.
ThxHi,
as username did you add your username or email?
If you are using the second, please try with username. In case this fails, please provide a url and wp admin credentials and we will have a look.
Thanks

Thx
Yes Lucy you can. You need to write html code though.
<img src="http://yoursite.com/image.jpg">If you are not comfortable writing html you can open a new page, use the post visual editor to create your description with image.
Once done, in the top right corner of your post editor you can move from visual to text.
There you will find the html, copy it in your description and discard the page used to create the content.
Let us know,
Thx
At the moment Events can only be linked to Places.
If you wish to see this extended to other custom post types, please submit a request here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/requests/
Thanks

And let us know if this is resolved please. Thanks
It isn’t complicated at all.
It requires 2 actions totalling 5 minutes if you have to download and install poedit. otherwise it can be done in a matter of 1 minute. We will provide in the future a shortcode to replicate that page, but for the moment that is the only option.
Thanks
hi,
yes, I was able to recreate the problem.
I’ve flagged this for developers to fix asap.
We will keep you posted.
Thank you for spotting this.
Hi,
you can see all listings belonging to 1 custom post in the archive page of that custom post type.
example.com/places is the default with only the core plugin installed.
If you go to GD >> permalinks, you can change that “places” to anything you want. In that case though, you will also need to edit the words place/places in all translation file as explained here:
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/translate-core/
Thanks
HI,
the only way to do that is via JavaScript, but that would require custom coding.
Here an example: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3357575/how-to-move-html-element
Thx
Hi,
Updating a wordpress plugin is the easiest thing: go to plugins and click updates wherever you see that there is an update available.
To update addons, remebber to add your username and password for this forum in GD >> Auto Updates.
If you need more info, you can read this article about keeping wordpress themes and plugins updated:
http://www.sitepoint.com/a-guide-to-updating-wordpress/Thank you
Is the editor trying to update a post that belongs to an admin? I think that’s the problem…
In any case this material for the wordpress.org forums. GeoDirectory doesn’t interact with Blog Posts.
Thank you
