Hi Mike,
as far as that goes, my 1st language is Italian and while I do my best to describe the products (and Stiofan to translate my Itanglish to English), we know that our copywriting (in general, not just that sentence) must be improved.
We are much better at writing PHP than our respective languages.
However copywriters are expensive and most of the time they fail to describe the product, because they don’t know it.
Earlier today we were discussing the opportunity to invest some money on a copywriter, but we decided to wait until we find someone within the GeoDirectory community, in order to get the best possible result.
In the mean time if you can suggest a better way to rephrase that sentence, I’ll be happy to correct for future customers.
Thanks
Hi,
I’m sorry about that, you just needed to re-save permalinks. I’ve done it.
One thing you also want to check is the City, Region, Country labels of all CPT.
When we found the bug it did change it everywhere and I didn’t correct them all I think.
Let us know,
Thx
Hi,

Hi,
here I explain how to change the listings page title:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/change-entry-title-for-category-pages/#post-31196
The process is very similar however the action name is:
geodir_search_page_title
and the function name is :
geodir_action_search_page_title
Let us know if this is enough info to proceed.
Thanks

For categories you can use normal wordpress API function. get_catgories or wp_list_categories
http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_categories
http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_list_categoriesFor the locations you could either add the geodir_location_switcher shortcode in a hidden window and make it appear with that button, or check that shortcode functions to determine how to build your perfect solution.

Thank you for sharing…
Hi,
the size can vary, the default Google Maps icons are 20px X 34px
Example: http://playground.geotheme.com/files/2012/04/1.png
The best thing is to keep that ratio.
You can only upload Jpeg or Png files.
Thanks
February 27, 2015 at 5:30 pm in reply to: CSV upload no longer working on site and other major problems #32308I only see 1 listing loaded on the home map?
If you are trying to load 30k markers on your map, it will do it as fast as your server can perform that task. I would consider reducing the max number of listings to appear ina map to few hundreds…
What would be the point in showing such a high number of pins on a map anyway?
Let us know,
Thanks
It all seems fine to me too.
When clicking on a listing I’m asked if I want to share my location. If I don’t it doesn’t redirect me anywhere (see image attached).
It seems like in your browser it is omitting to ask? That’s why I’d suggest to follow Guust’s advise and clear your browser location settings. It’s different from clearing cache and so on: http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/faqs/how-can-i-clear-geo-location-settings/
I would also suggest enabling this option in advanced search if you haven’t already : “Ask user if they wish to be geolocated”
Let us know,
Thx
Hi again,
the bug was in MultiLocation addon.
A fix has been applied on your website now and in the addon, so this should never come back.
Don’t ask me why in my test yesterday it didn’t change, we are still trying to figure that out. 🙂
Thanks
Please provide a URL and wp admin credentials and we will have a look.
GD and the CSV upload is being used by thousands of websites successfully. There is probably an error in the data loaded.
Thanks for letting us know,
Hi Lucy,
please check now, it should be fixed.
The script “Raphaël 2.1.0 – JavaScript Vector Library”, didn’t like to be concatenated with other scripts, so we excluded it from GD Booster concatenation.
Let us know,
Thx
This reply has been marked as private.Hi,
I can’t recreate this on our test websites, are all your plugin up to date? Would you please provide wp admin credentials?
Thanks for letting us know,
Hi,
for another user we solved by disabling geolocation on 1st load option. It wasn’t working because there was no location switcher in place.
For you website, I’ve clicked the near me button 15 times and I always got the same result.
In any case, who would ever waste their time clicking the near me button several times???
Thx
