So based on what you say I will limited to 10 lists per page and just 20 pages
I didn’t say that at all. You can have thousands of listings, but they should be paginated wisely. This is what I said.
Thx
Hi,
we need phpmyadmin or cpanel credentials, not a backup of your database.
We need to test it on your server, on our server it works.
Thx
It looks like the entire menu is missing, but are you saying that if you disable GeoDirectory the menu appears normally?
If this isn’t the case, than this would be a support question for the theme author. Not for us.
Let us know,
About the map, please see image attached.
PHP code isn’t executed in a css file. I don’t think Avada child theme was provided with that code inside but let me remind you that we don’t provide support for the Avada theme, other than for integrating GD with its templates.
Please report any doubts you have about Avada and it’s file in their support forum.
Thank you
Everything below
/* General elements
————————————————— */Should be removed.
To be honest with you, I have no idea where it comes from. Maybe you could ask that in the Avada support forum?
Thx
the map in listings page looks correct to me… can you explain how it should look in your vision?
thx
Go to: http://yoursite.com/wp-admin/theme-editor.php
Select file style.css and you will notice there are lines like:
background-color:<?php echo get_post_meta($c_pageID, 'pyre_header_bg_color', true); ?>;PHP code is not executed in a css file. I don’t know who copied that code inside that file, but he definitely didn’t know what he was doing.
You should remove it all.
Thanks
Hi,
we pushed the release of all updates of few days to add various shortcodes in core plugin.
It should happen tomorrow.
Thx
Hi Manilaboy,
with 1 user reporting this and thousands of websites now using GD plus the random occurance, makes it really really hard for us to fix this.
I’ve visited your website at least 5 times in the past 48 hours and I’ve never seen that error…
I’ve pinged stiofan again for you, but I’m not sure there is much we can do here.
Thx
Hi Bob,
as far as I know you are the last member left having problems with Avada.
Stiofan will be looking into your website asap.
Thanks
I would have suggested the same procedure as it’s the simplest at the moment….
Thx
Hi Again,
I confirm we added this to next release so you don’t have to worry about losing the mod when updating.
Thank you for sharing!
What you reported up there isn’t an error, it is a notice and it can be removed with
error_reporting(E_ERROR);in your child theme’s functions.php.
Thanks
p.s. I don’t see it…
Hi,
I’ve just tested this for this page: http://wpgeo.directory/restaurants/united-states/new-york/new-york/french/la-grenouille/#comment-8671
and it seems to be working as expected: http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwpgeo.directory%2Frestaurants%2Funited-states%2Fnew-york%2Fnew-york%2Ffrench%2Fla-grenouille%2F%23comment-8671
Do you have the latest version of the multirating and reviews addons installed?
Could you provide a link to a page with ratings that report that problem?
Thanks
Hi Exacfro,
The fact that someone wrote on the internet that leaving wp_ default prefix is a security risk, it doesn’t meean that is an undisputable thruth.
I’ve been working with wordpress since 2008, never changed database table prefix in one of my website and I’ve never suffered SQL injections, because if the application used is secure, leaving or changing the wp_ prefix to tables will change absolutely nothing.
In any case, Stiofan confirmed that the application should work even with custom table prefixes and I’m passing the ball to him to see what the problem could be.
As I said, I’m not sure at all that’s the cause of the problem.
Thanks
