as long as you don’t have the location manager you can only add listing with address within the default location. The zip code is only one part of the address.

I would tell them, why don’t you guys use WP Easy Updates too and solve the problem on the spot?

We developed it to avoid exactly that problem for our customers. With WP Easy updates the license check is made once for all add-ons instead of one for each add-on.
