For what I’ve seens since I started using it in 2010, w3tc will slow down 90% of the website it is used on because the plugin is more resource hungry that most website it is used for.
PHP caching isn’t really that effective, it will end up slowing down everything if the server isn’t powerful enough to handle it.
Tested on GeoTheme.com we stopped using it and never try again.
On our dedicated server with nginx and fastcgi installed, webiste was loading over 1 second faster without w3tc installed.

we will build real apps based on PhoneGap framework. We hope to have them by the 1 quarter of next year, but with Apps the work can always be delayed.
It will not be a plugin, but a code that you have to download on your computer, build and submit to App Store and Google Play Store.
To answer to your question, I have never tested any of the above plugins, so I can’t really tell.

There is definitely something breaking Events. Even the back end add event form is missing fields.
As I said before, please try disabling all non GD plugin to see which one is breaking Events and if none of them is, we will probably need phpmyadmin to check why DB isn’t saving data and is missing fields.

I see that even the events listing doesn’t show any events. I checked dummy dat and the import was partial, images, dates and custom fields were missing. Itroed manually correct one and the new data is not saved.
Now I am deleting all events and I am re-importing them to see if the problem was a faulty import. In case this doesn’t work, I suspect a plugin is creating the conflict, in that case it would be useful deactivating all non GD plugins to see if the problem vanish, than reactivate one by one to see which one is causing the issue.
I’ll keep you updated.

that would be the listing page and both the map and list will show the number of listing you define in wp settings >> reading >> Blog pages show at most?
The only map that will show all listings entered (per location / per CPT) is the Home page map.

I see you avada installed, which alone is an heavy weight theme, to work with it and GeoDirectory (plus I guess other plugins) the minimum required is a decent VPS, but a dedicated server would do better.
What type of hosting are you using?
If you want to work with a shared server, I suggest to move to one using nginx or litespeed as webserver, which would guarantee improved loading time.
wirenine.com is one that provides very affordable and fast shared plans.

as Guust said, the location page and the places page are 2 different templates and are different.
1 uses the home page template and the other uses the listings page template and have different widget areas.
You can’t have the prefix location for both Listing url prefix and Location url prefix.

Hi Tim,
do you have access to the server change log? White screen is normally due to a php fatal error.
For example it could be due to 2 functions (1 from our plugin and 1 from another plugin or the theme) with the same name.
In this case there is no need to reinstall wordpress and delete db tables, all you need to do is to remove our plugin from the wp-content/plugins folder via FTP client to deactivate it.
By looking at your change log we can find out what error is generating the white screen and offer a solution.
We would need wp admin and ftp credentials for this, you can send them with a private reply here so that only moderators can see them.

The idea is to build a Real Estate Addon, a Jobs listings Addon a Deals addon and so on.
But Rome wasn’t built in 1 day.
