I’ve tested in our demo and it doesn’t seem to be working as it should either.
http://wpgeo.directory/hotels/united-states/new-york/new-york/5-stars/crosby-street-hotel/ (an image should be next to Logo:)
I’ve flagged this for Vikas.
Thanks for spotting this.
Hi,
this is not a bug, it is a choice we made while rebuilding the templates and it’s the only way to have consistent images size no matter the format or size of any user submitted image.
Thx
Sorry, it seems also that there is aplugin conflict.
TypeError: jQuery(…).dialog is not a function
wp-content/plugins/buddypress-like/assets/js/bp-like.min.js?ver%5B0%5D=jquery
Line 1Try disabling : buddypress like to see if that’s preventing the maps from loading.
Thanks
I still see no categories enabled for the map.
Please forward me your wp admin credentials in a private reply and I will fix your settings.
Thanks
yes it is
the default city is mandatory
June 24, 2014 at 1:27 am in reply to: Post will be deleted if both city and map marker position has been changed #5820hi Rob,
I need to refer this to Vikas, I’m really not sure about this…
Thanks for your patience.
example.com/places/some-city/ and example.com/location/some-city/ are similar only if you are using 1 custom post types and are using different templates.
1 is using the home page template, the second is using the listings templates.
example:
http://wpgeo.directory/attractions/united-states/illinois/chicago/
and
http://wpgeo.directory/location/united-states/illinois/chicago/
they are 2 completely different pages.
As far as the canonical link goes, I agree 100% with you and I’ve forwarded this to Vikas asking him to fix it asap.
Thank you for spotting this.
hi,
custom fields icons are placed on the left side of the custom field name.
There is no option to put it to the right I’m sorry.
Looks like a widget autozoom issue?
Hi,
the Deafult location can only be a city and you set it here:
yoursite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=geodirectory&tab=managelocation_fields&subtab=geodir_location_manager
MultiLocation >> Manage Locations
What you are referring to are the new options to restrict countries, regions and cities In MultiLocation >> Location settings
Example:
You default location in MultiLocation >> Manage Locations is:
United States >> California >> Los Angeles.if you go to MultiLocation >> Location settings and click on “Enable default country (country drop-down will not appear on add listing and location switcher).”
You simply restrict all other countries to be used in your GeoDirectory website.
The only country used in your website will be united states. If someone tries to add a listing in Mexico, the system will not accept the submission.
if you click on “Enable default region (region drop-down will not appear on add listing and location switcher).”
The only region used in your website will be california. If someone tries to add a listing in Ohio, the system will not accept the submission.
Clear?
Thx
I need to flag this for Vikas, I don’t really know how to answer to your question.
It could be a bug that you’ve found.
We’ll let you know asap.
Thanks
I think the only solution for this is making sure the database collation for the entire database and tables is UTF-8.
I’m flagging this for Vikas to confirm.
Thx
default location currently can only be a city or everywhere, not a region or a country.
In add listing the default city is selected, but it can always be changed…
June 24, 2014 at 12:49 am in reply to: Can you change the default fields in the Add a Listing area #5810Hi,
you can enalbe/disable default add listing fields for any custom post type via prices and payments addon. FOr each price you can hide/show any field.
To customize the add listing page, you can do that via the use of action filters and hooks in your theme functions.php file or by moving the add-listing template from geodirectory/geodirectory-templates inside your child theme and modify it to suit your needs.
Let me know if you need further help with this.
Thanks
