Make sure registration is enabled in Settings >> general.

no, post_author has its own column, just make sure you have the ID of the correct user for each listing in that column.

There is something adding strings to your scripts and breaking them. I think it is a pagespeed plugin.

Please try to disable it.

This is the listing with bad character in it:

SPECIALTY HOSPITAL OF MIDAMERICA

There could be more, the faulty type is between MID and AMERICA.
