that code adds an image background behind the search widget, not what you are looking for at all.

In fact, you don’t have the search widget anywhere.

no there is no such option, I’m sorry. They become past events only.

It’s really not a good idea to delete a page of your website, it will result in a 404 error for Google.

if it only works for logged in users, probably the problem is cache related. What caching system are you using? Or are you on a Managed WP hosting with built in cache maybe?

The location page looks empty because you don’t have any widgets in place in Appearance >> Widgets >> GD Home Top Section and so on. Also from design >> home you had disabled both the top section and the right sidebar.
