Please check now.
Hi,
you need to hire someone that knows about CSS to help you customize the design as you want. We can give you pointers, but not do the entire job for you, that goes beyond support.
Thanks
Hi,
please see the 2 images attached.
If you go to Appearance >> Widgets, you will see that you have widget areas for the GD Listings page.
GD Listings Top Section, GD Listings Right Sidebar, GD Listings Bottom Section.
They are activated/deactivated via GeoDirectory >> Design >> Listings.
The widgets that you see in the screenshot widget-areas, are also visible in the listing-page screenshot in the top section.
If you add the GD GMap Listings widget in that area, you will have the map like in the Location page.
Hope it’s clearer now.
Let us know,
Thanks
Hi,
all themes from elegant themes have extra settings that overrides the option in Settings >> Reading.
Thanks
Hi Sven,
I don’t see any of the add-ons folder created in wp-content/languages, nor any of the add-ons mo files anywhere.
I don’t know how loco translate works, we don’t really provide support for it.
In addition I can’t find any untranslated string on your website. If you tell us what the problem is exactly we may be able to assist.
Thanks
Please avoid opening another topic about the same question: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/translation-problem-4/#post-350533
Thanks
Thanks for letting us know 🙂
January 27, 2017 at 9:46 pm in reply to: Supreme Detail Page : Looking for use default photo for each place of each cat #350803Hi,
that’s not possible, this is how it works.
If there is no default category image, nor listing image, it uses the same featured image used in the home page by default
If there is a default category image, but no listings image, it will use that.
If there is a listing image it will use the 1st uploaded.
What you want to do would require to customize the current code.
Thanks
That’s good news.
The ideal solution would be a caching system like GD Booster or Wp Super Cache + Autooptimize, but I can tell you already that with that amount of plugins, it will be another nightmare to configure it and make it work well.
Thanks
Yes you can make them fit with this css:
.whoop-img-track .geodir_thumbnail { background-size: contain; }You can add it in Design >> Scripts >> Custom css.
Modifying the size requires few more CSS changes: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
Thanks
Hi,
both things are not possible. As I said we need to provide distance as the crow flies. Providing the driving distance for 10 listings at a time, would take several seconds and make the website unusable.
The second thing is not possible either, only via Search that would be possible. But if you click in a view all link, it will show them sort them with your default sorting option.
Thanks
Hi,
that’s an archive page, it doesn’t appear in your WordPress “pages”. But you have the same widget areas that you have in the GD Home and location page.
Thanks
Hi,
the approach they took is correct. If you want the look of the website to be different, you’ll need to provide them with the design and they will apply it. Currently you are using the default plugin output.
Thanks
Hi Fiona,
just to make sure we are all on the same page, by profile picture, do you mean the images in the listings gallery or the avatar of the user submitting the listings?
Let us know,
Thanks
Thank you! 🙂
