    Hi,

to add back the add listing page go to GD Tools and run the utility to check the GD Pages.

Otherwise simply create a new page, call it add listing or whatever you want and than assign it in GD >> Permalinks as the new add listing page.

    Thanks

    Hi,

in WPML you had the wrong setting for the Language URL format and in translation management >> Multilingual Content Setup the CPT places was not enabled for translations.

Now you can translate your places in Spanish and they will appear when switching language.

    Thanks

At the moment each event can be linked to 1 listing only. I believe the best solution would be to remove the contact details of the venue owner if he’s not the organizer and add the correct contact details.

If you submit a feature request : https://wpgeodirectory.com/requests/ and it receive many votes from other members, we will definitely consider it.

    Thanks

If the events are linked to a place, you can see all listings linked to it.

    Example:

    Place : https://wpgeo.directory/attractions/chicago/museum/art-institute-of-chicago/#link_business

    All events linked:

    https://wpgeo.directory/events/?venue=157-Art+Institute+of+Chicago&etype=all

    Would this work for you?

    Hi,

the default location cannot be a collection of towns in a region, it can only be 1 of these towns.

The Location manager will allow to add listings in other towns of that region, without you having to add all towns in advance.

    Thanks

    Hi Richard,

all these are regular pages (none of them is affected by GD design settings) and the only thing I see is the page right sidebar, to avoid showing it you need to select the full width template. I’m not sure which one you think is the top widget area on that pages.

The add listing page will only resolve to ?listing_type=gd_place or ?listing_type=gd_event or ?listing_type=gd_another_cpt because it needs to know which custom post type is being added.

Let us know if this helped.

    Thanks

    Hi,

each listing must belong to a price, when the Payment manager isn’t installed you don’t see it, but as soon as you activate it, all your 1000 current listings will be automatically assigned the free price. If you change the number of categories and pictures allowed for the free price, it will automatically limit them for all new listings, but old listings will remain untouched.

If you want the free listings to only have 1 picture and 1 category, you should make them so before users claim them.

In the claim listing settings, you have an option to force the upgrade to claim a listing. If you select that, the user will be forced to upgrade and go through the payment and the new price will be assigned automatically.

Let me know if anything is still not clear.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I’m sorry there is not. Instead there is an option to hide lat and long without the need of any css.

    Thanks

    Hi,

the 1st file (export) looks correct, the second file has post_type and post_status filled only for the 1st row.

If you provide a link and admin credentials in a private reply (only our staff can read them), we will have a better look.

    Hi,

the bulk edit and quick edit are able to change the WP tables, but not the GD tables, they shouldn’t be used. If you need to work on bulk changes of listings, you should use the import / export tools of GD.

    Thanks
