August 22, 2016 at 3:52 pm in reply to: Error after Pressing Confirm Preview and Go to Checkout #251175Hi,
500 is an internal server error. If you ask to your hosting support, they should be able to look at their error logs and at least tell us what the error is coming from. Most likely they will be able to fix it directly. (normally they are caused by missing server configurations).
Let us know if this helped.
Thanks
You are welcome, that’s what we are here for 🙂

Hi,
now everything is setup like in our demo (which is down now and I will fix asap).
As I said, you just needed to move around widgets in widget areas and complete the basic install.
Let us know if you need any further help.
Thanks
August 20, 2016 at 5:57 pm in reply to: Is it possible to allow event creation only to members who have a paid listing? #250409Hi,
for the 1st question please see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/premium-listings-getting-free-events/
and
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/make-events-subservient-to-places/page/2/
This is becoming a popular request, so I’ll ask to the developer to see if and how we could include it.
Here we shared a function that would add a new user meta to a user after submitting a place: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/blank-non-selectable-field-drop-down/page/2/#post-231314
You can probably modify that to change user role instead.
Let us know how you went,
Thanks
Hi,
I’m helping you here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/geo-1280-genesis-child-theme-2/
Remember that today is Saturday and our support is limited during week ends. https://wpgeodirectory.com/support-policy/
Thanks
Hi,
it seems as there are plenty of widgets all over the page.
If you provide admin credentials in a private reply, I’ll do a basic set up for you to get you started.
Let me know,
Thanks
Hi,
it seems like you are using the project ID of the Google API as Google analytics “Profile ID”.
This: ga:56883330168 looks wrong.
You need to get that from your Google Analytics account instead, please review: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-core-plugin-google-analytics/
Thanks
Hi,
neither thing is possible out of the box. The Home link takes to the website home page, which is correct.
And the listings (cpt) archive is a WordPress default thing.
I know there are hooks to modify the breadcrumb and I’m almost positive one of the developer already provided an example to modify it, but I can’t find the old topic, so I’ve flagged this for him directly.
He’ll be back on Monday and he’ll let us know if there is an easy way to do this.
Thanks for your patience,
Hi,
no, the editor link is not visible only when the file permissions are not allowing WordPress to modify files on your server directly.
You can change permissions via FTP or ask to your hosting support to do it for you.
If you can access your file via FTP, that would be the best practice though.
Thanks
Hi Ray,
I’ve flagged this for the developers, they’ll let you know asap (probably Monday…).
Thanks
The best way would be via FTP, otherwise you can do that via Appearance >> Editor within the WordPress dashboard.
Let us know how you went,
Thanks
