the near me field of the advance search will suggests locations only, taken from your DB. You just need to enable it.

Currently it is not possible to use the Google Autocompleter in there.

that’s a bug that the developers had fixed already, but apparently it’s still coming up on a few website.

Tomorrow they should come up with a solution for this as they already started today.

The link appear because that’s flagged as a recurring event.

Each link is for the specific date of the recurring event:

http://yourmetrodenver.com/events/food-events/food-truck-rodeo/?gde=2016-08-05

and the date appears on the title too.

On this event it doesn’t make much sense, because you flagged it as recurring, but it has only one occurrence.

I’m not sure I understand which “show map” button you are referring to.

No, there is only a widget at the moment for the near me button.

Add this to Design >> Scripts >> Custom CSS:

@media only screen and (max-width: 480px){
.map-category {
    display: none;
}
}
