Within your GoDaddy control panel you should be able to find or create new FTP credentials.
FTP means “File Transfer Protocol” and it’s the means used to upload and download files from your computer to your server.
If you ask to GoDaddy for support, they should be able to provide you with this information.
otherwise we could try forcing the update with this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/
However the wp admin username and password provided are not working, so I cannot try for you.

another member is having the exact same problem with poedit.
Being French too, we think poedit might have a conflict with a french version of a specific Operating system.

unlike the other 3, the follow us ribbon was wrapped in
<p></p>tags, because you had this option enabled on that widget: “Automatically add paragraphs”.
Removing them fixed the problem…

I’ve corrected the problem, now if you download GDF 1.2.6 there are the correct files in it.
You can upload via FTP only though.
