Hi,
I’m sorry but we don’t provide this kind of custom services. We prefer to work on improving the product for the entire community.
You will need to hire a freelance developer for something like that.
Thank you,
Hi,
that heading is not coming from GeoDirectory, but from the theme.
The heading from GeoDirectory is below the breadcrumb and it is correct.
We would need to have a look at the theme code to let you know how to correct this, or you could ask for support to the theme developer.
Let us know,
Thanks
Hi,
you need to add and activate each license key here:
http://54.174.248.236/wp-admin/admin.php?page=geodirectory&tab=auto_update_fields
You can find your license keys here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/members/veteranslist/downloads/
I just tried adding the license key for the claim listing add-on and it activated fine.
Once you activate all keys, you will be able to update the plugins. Currently you have a total of 36 outdated plugins. That is not a good way of proceeding. You should try to keep everything updated all the time.
Let us know if that helped.
Thanks
Not unless it is requested by a lot of members… especially because a solution that can be easily applied was provided here.
Thanks
Hi,
you shouldn’t edit plugin files, or after every update you’d loose your customization.
I asked to the developers to check if there is a hook or method to help you achieve that without messing with core files. For the second problem I’d need to have a look at your dashboard. Please provide a link and admin credentials and we will have a look.
Thanks
Hi,
just FYI, you don’t need to uninstall the theme to update it. You simply overwrite the files via FTP.
The best way is to keep your custom functions and css backed up, so that you can re-apply them after every update of the theme.
Or you can add all the css to design >> scripts >> custom css so that it is saved in the database and use a plugin as suggested by kor to add custom functions.
Thanks
Hi,
the plugin you are using to register new users seems to be requiring an admin to approve users.
I registered and activated the email, but the gdsupport user is still pending.
Please ask for support to the author of the plugin user for user registration.
Thanks
Hi Rainer,
I’ve reported your request to the developers. They won’t be able to add it to next release, because that will be probably released in the next few minutes.
They will consider it for next release and they will let you know asap.
Thanks
Hi,
sorry for the late reply. There is something weird on your install, that we can’t recreate in any of our demos.
Would you mind providing FTP credentials too?
Let us know,
Thanks for your patience,
Hi Sumi,
thanks for that. I think the problem is related to Open Street Maps. I asked to the developers to follow up.
Thanks
Because they are recurring payments. In that case only Paypal and Stripe will work.
Thanks
Hi,
for the default translation file to have effect on the tab labels, you must use the default tab labels, instead you have changed them.
in that case you need to load the db translation and translate them as custom fields.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-custom-fields/
Thanks
@francesco I’ve approved all waiting strings. Thanks!
@Joze we’d really need the po files, not the mo files. Let us know,
Thanks
Hi,
the category icon is what is used in the maps and category widgets.
The category default image is only used in the listings page (archives) as thumbnail for listings without images.
It is not possible to use the images instead of the icons in the popular category widget without customizing the popular category widget code, I’m sorry.
The listings excerpt length of the home page widgets can be changed from the widget settings. Go to Appearance >> Widgets >> GD Home Content Section and change the “Post Content excerpt character count” of the Popular post view widgets in use.
Thanks
