as a plugin it fails to load
Do you get an error when you try to upload it as a plugin? Did you have V1 installed previously?
If yes, you need to overwrite V1 with V2 via FTP. Or you should be able to do it with a plugin like this.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/
Being a plugin, you’ll never be able to install it as a theme, it’ll never work.
Thanks
I would avoid the overly complicated ones like w3tc. Others should work fine out of the box and if you find one that doesn’t, we’ll look into it.
Thanks
Hi,
that would make your website search unusable. It would become extremely slow to retrieve results.
If you wish to add extra searchable keywords to your listings, you should use tags.
Thanks
Kiran took a day off today, that’s why he didn’t reply, but he’ll be back tomorrow and he’ll follow up with you.
Thanks for your patience!
In Appearance > Widgets.
Thanks
It looks like you are using V1 of the Events add-on with V2 of GeoDirectory.
Make sure that is not the case.
Thanks
Just FYI:
https://childtheme-generator.com/
https://wordpress.org/plugins/child-theme-generator/
Both worked for me in the past…
Refund porcessed.
Thanks!

I flagged your topic for the developers to see if there is anything else in your install that is causing issues.
They’ll let you know asap.
Thanks
Please add this:
.geodir-viewall { float: right; }Thanks

If you provide a link and admin credentials in a private reply we’ll have a look.
November 26, 2018 at 9:29 pm in reply to: Need to remove several words from code that aren't being used #456011If you uploaded the new mo file in the right folder as explained in the documentation, just remove it.
If you uploaded your mo file in the plugin folder to replace the original (this would be a mistake because you’d lose it after every update), download a fresh copy of GeoDirectory and reupload the original mo file in the plugin folder.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you
You have several jQuery errors on that page (see image attached), most likely solving the 1st will fix all the rest. There must be a plugin adding the Maps API key other than GeoDirectory. With that many active plugin, it is difficult to tell where it may come from.
The only way to debug this is to deactivate all non GD plugins momentarily to see if the problem goes away, then reactivate one by one till you find the culprit.
Unless you already know where you added the second Maps API key, in that case simply remove it.
Thanks
Claim listing for V2 hasn’t been released yet. It should be released in BETA in the next few days. Hopefully already tomorrow.
Thanks
Hi,
location wouldn’t be possible, because it is not a custom field. Unless you create it and make sure each listing has it selected. By default there is the search near field (text input not select).
Service type would be a custom field and it that case it is possible. Please see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you,
