Hi,
you have this as header background: http://hairknowledge.net/directory/files/2016/01/Untitled-3.jpg
Thanks
Hi,
the slider needs a margin top of aprox 190px to show on that page. Not sure how you are adding it though.
Let us know,
Thanks
Hi,
you are using version 0.0.1 of Whoop which is the very first beta release, current version is 1.0.5.
You will need to update via FTP, as the beta version didn’t include auto update functions. Just download on your desktop, unzip and overwrite current files.
You could also use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/
Let us know how you went.
Thanks
Ok the site is back up, 2 things:
1) you haven’t created the custom post type projects.
2) You are not using a child theme, which means that whatever custom code I add now to your functions.php, updating the theme would erase it. https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
Please move to a child theme so that we don’t have this problem. You can ask for support to the theme provider for this in case you don’t know how to proceed.
Also create the projects custom post type and add a couple of test project, that way we can test what we are going to add.
Let us know,
Thanks
Sorry, the username had a space at the end. I’m in. I’ll let you know when done.
Thanks
Please try to add this in gd > design > scripts > custom css:
.geodir_map_container { z-index: 1; }Let us know,
Thanks
Please see image attached.
Hi,
I’m getting invalid username.
Let me know,
Thanks
Not really, is it a shared server, VPS or a dedicated server? How much RAM and what CPU does it offer.
Hi,
normally that is possible if you have enough server resources. What kind of server is hosting your website?
Let us know,
Thanks
I’m very sorry, I’m not sure why I was not seeing it correctly before, but now I do.
Everything seems to be working correctly, sorry for the false alarm.
Thanks
Access to the server via FTP. If you don’t know these details, please ask to your hosting provider. You should have all these info in your server control panel.

Thanks
Hi,
the setup in gd > permalinks was wrong.
If you are not using the GD Home page as your website home page, that page is not used at all.
The directory home in that case becomes the location page.
You are also missing the Lsiting Success page and that will create problems if someone tries to add a listing from the front end.
In addition, you had everything ticked in design > map > Show / hide post type and category on map, which means eevrything hidden and that hides the map.
Now there is a CSS conflict between that X stack (only integrity is fully compatible) and the map css. Let us know if you need help fixing that or if you can proceed on your own from here.
Thanks
ok let us know if you can’t find it.
Thanks
Hi,
I’m sorry, I’ve tried to update the GeoDirectory with the development version using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/ but something went wrong.
I need FTP credentials to fix the problem and proceed.
Sorry again about any trouble.
Let us know,
Thanks
