When a post is published it then tries to post to facebook, it adds the posts to a meta value and then tries to publish them on the next page reload (on frontend) then it will remove them from the meta value and add a meta value to the post to say it has been posted to facebook. There are a few points it could fail at if the server is maybe timing out or is caching meta values. Do you have caching enabled? FTP info might be required here.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Hi Kerri,
The last person who i seen with that message had not created the correct API details, please make sure you create a “OAuth client ID” for a web application. and at step #5 https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-core-plugin-google-analytics/ The URL’s are correct (if your site uses www. include it if not dont)
Let us know how you get on.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Hi Jole,
I have fixed the re-post to facebook thing, you can simply copy the plugins files from the now working site to your other sites, or you can wait for the next release.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Hello, thanks for your patience, please check now 🙂

Hi Dean,
We try to only override it when only we will be using it, this is the second time ever i have seen it cause a problem. I do appreciate the feedback and i will make some changes to avoid this in future.
Thanks,

Hi Justin,
We have been moving away from PHP sessions but they are still used as a backup, the kind of things stored are listing layout settings and location settings.
With that plugin my advice would be just test things, most really fast caching plugins cache too much and break things for logged in users or even worse cache pages of logged in users and show them to logged out users. When testing be sure to test everything with logged in and out users. As for specific pages not to cache for GD, not really any in particular.
Thanks,
Stiofan
@rsindex it seems your server cant communicate with our server, i edited your theme 404 page to run a test, please ask your server guys whats going on, if you visit this url you can see my test code:
http://YOUR-URL.com/wp-admin/theme-editor.php?file=404.php&theme=GeoDirectory_whoop&scrollto=0
and if you visit this url you can see it’s not working:
http://YOUR-URL.com/adsfasdfas/?gd_test=1Please ask your host whats up and let us knwo what they say.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Usually the facebook scrapper will only check a url once, if it has a problem or not it will cache the results, and the only way to fix it is to go to the facebook lint tool and ask itt o fetch new data. Try adding a new listing, if that works then probably that is the problem, if not then let us know and i can look further.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Hi Conor,
It looks like this might have something to do with jetpack CDN for the JS files, i have not sued jetpack much at all, can you try disabling it and clearing cache first to see it that solves then we can take it from there.
Thanks,
Stiofan
The file /home/infocity/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-woocommerce/woocommerce-mod-css-dynamic.php Had a white space before the opening PHP tag. That is all 🙂
Thanks,
Stiofan
Great! 🙂
Hello,
I have fixed your theme issue, but your wp-admin details are incorrect now.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Hi Kira,
Sorry for the delay! There seems to be somehting wierd going on with the main GD plugin folder, i can’t move it or delete it, so it looks like it’s owned by another user, i have renamed it to “geodirectory.bak” but you should try to delete it. I have uploaded a new one that is correctly called “geodirectory” and all seems to be working now.
Thanks,
Stiofan
i tried adding list manager for you and it seemed to work ok.
Thanks,
Stiofan
