Hi Geoff,

I managed to find the exact error being thrown “Unknown character set: ‘utf8mb4′” and it seems to be because your MySQL version is too old, you are running version: 5.0.83 WordPress recommends 5.6 https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/

Once you upgrade your server then please go to GD>GT Tools>clear all version numbers, this will make the script install the missing databases.

Your server seems to have a 512 character limit for url parameters, anything over that fails, this is likely a mod security rule, please ask your host to remove the rule.
