HI Alex, thanks for the reply!
I read the docs carefully. I understand the price packages can override the default settings for FEATURED badge, but even so, I couldn’t figure it out.As a work around, I simply created a new custom badge that I will use in place of the default Featured Badge.
This works, so I’m all set.
The new badge system is robust and allows for a lot of flexibility.
Thanks!

HI, Update:
It wasn’t a plugin but my theme. I updated my theme and that corrected the expired API key, but I now have another problem. The maps work on the front end, but break on the backend of my website.I don’t get the ‘OOPS! something went wrong’ error anymore but now the error says:
“This page can’t load Google Maps correctly.” with a grayed out map. see screenshot attached.I checked that the API key is correct, billing is set up and not expired.
the JS console error is:
InvalidValueError: setMap: not an instance of Map; and not an instance of StreetViewPanorama
_.Jc @ maps.google.com/maps/api/js?&language=en&key=AIzaSyA_LQjUQ5za8340BA-KmViol7F0xMGpCAM&libraries=places:58I can add Places on the front end but want to get the back end fixed.
thank you!
TimothyHi Alex,
yes, I noticed it’s breaking maps on the backend only. I’ll try disabling non-GD plugins again and see if I can get it fixed. thank you very much! This reply has been marked as private.Stiofan,
I submitted a feature request a few weeks ago for the social importer addon that may work as an alternative. I suggested adding import functionality for Eventbrite. It is a popular service that would allow me to import events of interest to my users. They have an API that would allow event data to be imported. It may be a good alternative if Facebook event imports are offline for a while.
Aha!
Thanks Alex!I’ll add it when my votes renew next month.
Hi Alex,
I rolled back one version of Enfold theme and the issue was fixed. So you’re right – It seems to be some issue with the latest enfold theme and their implementation of google maps API. I’ll work it out with them.I’m all set – Thanks for your support!
TimothySorry, I don’t know what this code is or how to turn it off.
I don’t have any API key entered for google maps on the avia/enfold backend.
Should I contact enfold support?
Thanks,
TimothyHi Alex!
Thanks for the quick reply.by AVIA, you mean the enfold theme? I checked my enfold seeings and do not have gmap api enabled. see the attached screenshot.
Is this what you mean? sorry if I am misunderstanding.
