    no not in there…

BUT there is good news… I found what caused the problems

During my update I also deleted a lot of categories, but did not remove them from the places (actually a CPT called artist)

The problem seams fixed, I just have to clean up my places in this CPT

    Thanks

    Hi Stiofan,

I understand, it could go both ways. That being said, can you programmer guide me in finding the php file I need to modify to change this. I have made a lot of custom code so far on my install. I don’t think this is very tricky, I should be able to handle this with a little help.

    Thanks.

Thanks Paolo, at least I tried !!!

I am willing to pay for this kind of work, but I never got much response posting here.

Do you know if Vikas would be interested ?

    Thanks

You will notice that I have created seperate CPT for each local regions covered by my site. To me a region contains a few cities, but is not as big as a province or state, we can name them counties.

If you refresh the home page, you will get my TEST region, the others in the pull-down are being populated and are not very usefull for development – they are actually not working today, so don’t use those.

The first question I would ask is what files should be modified to achieve what I am trying to do. Is « geodirectory/geodirectory-functions/map-functions/js/map.js » the only file I should be looking at ?

    Thanks

You are welcome, I don’t want you to waste your precious time on things I can fix myself.

Ok, I did the test. And it seems to work well ! My CPT no longer disappear.

But I get another problem and I don’t think it is related to this test.

I was adding a pull-down on the Home page below the main menu, to refresh the map with another CTP which in my projects represents a REGION (not a state or province). And I wanted to remove the gray bar at the bottom of the map. Somehow, the listings are no longer attached to a CPT, even if I can see them in the admin.

Could it be the wp_options table that was somehow corrupted again ?

There were two other cpt, artists and festivals. The tables are still in the database.

I am more concerned on getting back the 10 entries then the cpt settings, because the later can be set back manually rapidally.

    Any suggestions to recoup.

    Thanks

Yes, but not in the ctp name or slug, just in the description fields.

    Thanks for your quick response.
