———————-The reason I was looking for that is that I am trying to create a second menu (or area above the home-map) to include those functions:
– Select a city (ideally a region like Orange County in California – but i know this is not available, yet !!!)
– Search by selecting one or more key words, TAGS specific to a geoDir CPT. This will be a multiple select input that I will code myself.
– Date range (between start-date and end-date) – I have created a custom field in PLACES, and I know that the Avance Search works to eliminate places not in that range.
– SUBMIT button, that will trigger the search using the criterias above … AND not go the a listing page, but rather just refresh the home-map with the desired PLACESAny advise you can give me?

Curious to know if Avada and Jarada are in the plans, looking forward to the documentation.
Do you think that in a future release you could add TAGS too!
It would make sense because under the Places Menu in the admin, I can create categories AND TAGS.
I use the tags instead of categories for a good reason
I would like to expend this post to add another question related to the SEARCH topic.
To be clear, my original question was about the regular «Search for» input box – from the GD > Search widget. But there is also a Search on the GD Home Map, on top of the categories check boxes. What does this search input box take into consideration when doing the search?
It does not seem to look at TAGS, unfortunatally. That would be a very important feature to add.
