Ok – thanks for the info. I thought it was something obvious that I’d overlooked!
Hi GD Team – don’t mean to pester but I was wondering what the status is with this unresolved issue please? I’m planning to do some promotion of my website but I can’t whilst it’s not functioning properly…
Thanks
Hi – so the map now shows on the home page again (thanks for fixing).
But the map still doesn’t zoom in when you click on ‘What’s Near Me’ so the original problem still isn’t fixed, PLEASE can someone help fix it? (I’ve cleared all the cache/history etc on my browser when I retried). It’s doing my head in now as it used to all work perfectly 🙁 🙁
Thanks
Hi Stiofan – I’ve just completed the GD updates but the issue still isn’t resolved, in fact it’s actually got worse because now when you first visit the site the map doesn’t even show up?! (see attached).
The map only appears when you click on ‘What’s Near Me?’ (and even then it doesn’t zoom in to the listings within that location) 🙁
Thanks
Ok – thanks for the update.
This reply has been marked as private.Hi Guust – I’m glad it’s working for you but it’s still not right for me (yes I’ve cleared cookies as suggested), I also got another user in VIC to try it on their phone (they’ve never visited the site before) and the map does not zoom in either? 🙁
Hi Guust – have cleared the cache and have tried on different devices and computers but it’s still not working? So when you tried, did your map zoom into the Brisbane area? Mine just stays on the whole of Australia even though the listings underneath are in distance order to my location. This used to work perfectly fine before so it’s starting to annoy me as I don’t know what’s changed…
Cheers
This reply has been marked as private.Hi again – wasn’t sure whether to start a new thread but my issue is related to this previous post…
Whilst my website has been loading much faster with the GD Booster, the map is still taking way too long to load and it’s starting to concern me. It currently has around 620 listings and I’m planning on having over a 1,000 (it’s a national directory) which I’m worried is only going to slow it down further… I’ve removed some of the third party plug-ins that I had to streamline it further and currently reducing all the image sizes within the listings but it doesn’t seem to be making a difference. Is there anything that can be done to improve the way the map loads within the Avada theme?
Any advice/recommendations appreciated.
Thanks
*Sorry – Noticed I posted this under GD Plugin bugs but I have no idea if it is or not!
Done – thanks.
Hi Stiofan – just checked and it seems to have worked a treat! Thanks for that 🙂
