    1.
Link to event on page “my Listings” opens Page 404.
Where do I have to configure that?

    2. Where can I rename “Events” to the german expression, e.g. in dop-down list (geodir_my_listings_chosen)?

    Kind regards
    Uwe

    1. SOLVED
Reason was: There weren´t any Event-Categories. After editing the events and assigning them to a category, the URL is correct and event will be shown.

    Hello!

You can change some slugs and the Event name in the settings for GD > Events Settings

You can also translate/localize the core plugin as well as addons into your language, and when you do so, you can add or change strings in ways that suit you and your site.

You can find complete instructions here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/
Each add-on has translation files, too: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/

Once you change one ‘string’ and see it working, you will probably want to change many more to make your site stand out and ‘speak’ to your customers.

Let us know how it goes!

    Hello Alex,

    thank you for your support.
I already translated all po-files (directory + addons). They are very good prepared!

But I can´t find the possibility to change “event” in the settings for GD > Events Settings.

    Am I blind?

    Kind regards
    Uwe

    Hello!

I’m sorry, I must not have understood which instance of ‘events’ you are referring to.

Can you please make a private reply with a URL, or a screenshot?

    Also, please check at mysite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=geodirectory&tab=geodir_manage_custom_posts&action=cp_addedit&posttype=gd_event

    OR

    GD > Custom Post Types > gd_event > Simple/Advanced

    Hello!

I think (I don’t read German) you need to install the Custom Post Type addon. No?

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/custom-post-types/

Then you can go to GD > Custom Post Types > gd_event > Simple/Advanced

    Great!
    That was the problem.

    Thank you very much!
