For V2, all the elements are available as shortcodes, blocks, and widgets. They all have the same options.
There aren’t any options in the widgets for that, it is usually something a designer does with CSS.
We can try to share an example if you would write back with the URL where we can see the categories you are referring to.
You can cut down on map views (What Google charges for after their free quota) by not placing a map widget into the GD Home or GD Listing widget areas.
The Map API is independent of the theme, because GeoDirectory is a plugin, not a theme. You choose the Map API through a setting in
GD – Design – Map
Since you are just starting your directory you should consider trying V2.

GDV2 should work with any theme so you can choose one of ours (which are great!) or another theme with which you are already comfortable.
There is custom CSS on your site that has blocked off the display of a ‘down arrow’ that should display on the CPT selector. I would recommend you remove that because it helps users understand there is a choice there, instead of text fill.
Hello,
you can use the gd_listings shortcode anywhere that HTML can be written. Widgets are helpful in that they can be easily placed into the sidebars that come with your theme.
I would recommend experimenting with a text widget to place some benign text into each of your widget areas so you can identify them. Then you can use the GD Popular Post View widget to show more listings in various places, or add a new page and use the gd_listings shortcode.
No, that should work fine.
In GDV1 you can hide Tags/Keywords on the Add listing form with CSS. See https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
About the issue of not being able to remove the first tag, we can check that on your site if you coudl share WP Admin credentials in a private reply.
You can edit any of the GD Template pages described here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/page-design/
Sorry, no, multiselect cannot be included on the search bar.
You can add a link to your menu, just review the options at:
GD – Design – Navigation
there you can select a menu, choose which post types can be added, and which links should be displayed.
That should fix it.

I resaved the settings for Multilocations, GD Permalinks, and WP Permalinks.
I just submitted two test listings, one from the account you provided and one from a new test user account.
The email logs both show the correct URL for the listing.
Had you been seeing this on every submission?
Hello,
you can create menu links to your pages like:
/business/
/events/It is not possible to create a link that will change the CPT selector to one or the other selections with a menu link. If you need hands on help with customizations contact a GD Expert here: https://geodirectoryexperts.com/experts/
In theory you should be able to install the latest version and they should work together. You should not need to rebuild the site from scratch.
What kind of problem are you seeing on the site?
