1. The ‘search for’ field searches titles, descriptions, categories and tags. It does not search custom fields.
2. Yes, to add listings outside the default location you will need the Location Manager Addon.
Hello,
I do not know of another option. I will flag your question for the developers. They would probably like to take a look at your site, especially if it might be possible to recreate the error. Please share your site details if you would like them to take a look, along with FTP if possible.
Hello,
For the Detail page tabs, use the settings to remove the Reviews tab:
GD – CPT – CPT Settings – Tabs – Reviews – Remove
For the CPT templates, remove the ratings shortcode.
Would I have to create a different template to achieve this
Yes, if you only want to hide the ratings and reviews on one CPT, then only that CPT’s templates and settings should be adjusted.

Hello,
try the option at
GD – Design – Detail – Show as list – Show as list Show as list instead of tabs
October 12, 2018 at 8:02 am in reply to: Strip non-alpha/numeric characters from search criteria #449405Yes, title, description, categories and tags are all searched and weighted.
I see the form appears to be setup correctly.
I added form 3 with defaults and set it for the widget. The developers will take a look to find out what is blocking the render in the popup.
The form renders when placed in a page, and works fine on the listings in Primer for the first submission, but doesn’t load a second time. Looks like styles aren’t loading inside the Ninja forms settings also. Confirmation email is sent, but not notification.
The Supreme Directory theme has a subtitle field option available.
You can see it in the Home Page instructions here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/supreme-directory-overview/
The site has the Map Search page set for the GD Home and Location pages.
That will not work. Each of those must be a different page.
After you create a new page, make sure to resave the WP Permalinks settings.
Also, the GD Home widget areas do not have any listings widgets. Try adding a popular post widget there.
October 11, 2018 at 10:20 pm in reply to: Remove uploader on CTP & CTP with user img as featured img #449389Hello,
1. Bulk edit images – Removing images is not possible by CSV edit and import export, it must be done manually for each listing through the listing.
2. Author image as default image – this is not possible with a customization.
For help with customization you can contact GD Experts here: https://geodirectoryexperts.com/
Hi Sara,
when you say “the place shows up in their account” what do you mean?
Most folks are using the Loginbox widget to provide links to manage listings. How do you do it?
I see the test event I just created on the author page.
October 11, 2018 at 10:01 pm in reply to: Adding new date to custom repeating event resets the start and end hours #449386Hello Ann,
can you please make a private reply and share your site details, we need to take a look at that.
It could be a conflict with another plugin, so, FTP details will help with debugging.
Thanks!

When the compas is clicked, and near me is selected as shown in the image, the browser issues a prompt for the geolocation of the user.
At the point when the geolocation is granted, and the search button is clicked, the location in the “Near Field” is replaced with “Near: Me” and is using the geolocation of the user.

You can try it on this page here above, and see a link like this one below if you enter “Tasty” for the search for value and Near:Me. You can see the lat lon for my query is 25/1
If you do not find this to be working for you, please feel free to share your site URL, a search URL and tell us how your experience differs.
ABout the Supreme button you mention, please send a screenshot and a link so we can take a look at what you mean.
Sorry for the confusion, GeoDirectory is not a theme and does not control the sidebars or the theme templates available for WP Pages (which DO control the sidebars).
You can use the Page options, augmented by your theme, to adjust the page template. That settings controls which/how many sidebars show on the page.
